Definitely. It will be cool to see where there can go with this next year. For a launch sports title, they did a hell of a job.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
From what I understand it was a relatively short window from when the NGP(Vita) dev kits were given to developers, and when the system launched. So I would definitely expect a big upgrade with next years.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
The ability to take my MOM franchise on the road or my RTTS player on the road, and not lose any actual functionality is beyond huge.
This is a monumental jump in sports gaming that seems to be lost on a lot of people.Comment

Using my SnoopDogg mentality. "No Dizzout" Other than Newborn baby stuff/things for the wife, this is the best purchase for me in a long time. It's been a month now and the newness feeling is still there. The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Little disappointed in the graphics but I'm sure it has something to do with the camera angles plus i spent all day playing the ps3 version yesterdayComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
depending on your income level I'd say yes. If you have a PS3 as well then definitely yes. Being able to transport and play your same franchise or whatever you play at all times is an awesome feature. And this is just the beginning. I'd imagine every sports franchises, even other gaming titles will also go this route and you can pick up and play whatever game it is where you are. This is definitely a huge break through in gaming.Comment

You guys have any suggestions on camera angles? I have all my cameras on broadcast right now and it feels like a PSP game lol
Edit: so far going through this thread, it appears "closer is better?"Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
graphically yes. For pitching I use the Pitcher close up. Batting I *THINK* i just left it at default catcher. Closer is better for graphics because its zoomed in that the crowd and other things aren't shown pixelated or anything like that.Comment

Trust OS gamers above those clowns at gamespot...The Vita and MLB the Show are completely worth it. It's NOT a direct PS3 game but it's close and ABSOLUTELY worth a purchase.Last edited by BobbyColtrane; 03-20-2012, 11:45 AM.Comment
