generally i guess FB inside for the most part, cuz i have a hell of a time turning on inside FB's. but if they are throwing me away i'll sit outside, it's worked out well for the most part. I just chase a lot and can't for the life of me hit high FB's... way behind all of em for weak pop-ups... then when i guess right and it's 'OMG HR TIME' i turn on it too hard and kill someone in the stands foul...

Yea I usually catch myself yelling heads up to the people in the stands as I rip a screamer right past their face.

hah, speakin of which. my cousin played in the Olympics the last year they had baseball and i was watchin it, he hit a screaming FB and drilled a fan. Camera couldn't even keep up with it. they panned to the person and there was other sstanding over this person and some blood. 2 pitches later, HR to center...

They just had me pinch hit, and then i went in and played catcher... i'm a lefty and i was catching as a righty... weird.

Created a third baseman, got drafted by the Astros, was leading AA in almost every hitting category, hitting .367, then got traded.

Continued hitting like a monster in AAA, finally got promoted to MLB, a bit harder now going just 1/6 so far in the bigs off the bench.

Finding i have the same issues as all other versions of the show, way too many perfect contact, great contact, perfect stride timing only to hit right at someone or get at the warning track, no matter how much I pump up my power.

I was drafted by the Marlins and after 1 season working my way from the AA rotation to the AAA rotation, I was traded to the Brewers. Which is fine.

But I received a message after the trade: "this team is really balanced, your transition looks to be a tough one."

What does that mean? Does that mean that I was just traded to team that doesn't need pitching and I am now doomed to toile away in the minors for the next 5 seasons?

Hey guys, I bought MLB last year but stuck to the franchise. I just bought my 12 the on saturday so I have a couple questions about RTTS.

I got drafted by the Dodgers and I am playing AA. I made it to the all-star game, and got an invite to the US vs. World game.

My stats are pretty good but my attributes aren't the best (1st season.). When do I get called up or do you ask for it? And is it likely they listen to your plea to change your position? i don't really want to start over. :O

And what's the best setting for RTTS? I use my sliders that i got from tnk in the slider section.

You get called up when you get called up. There is usually not one single thing that you can do to make it happen. They need to have room on the 40 man roster or you are replacing an injured player.

My previous experience has been that during the offseason of my second year in AAA, they will give me the spring invite. But each person has a different experience.

Your pleas very rarely get results.

No, you can't change your primary position but you can change your secondary position in player editor

i started my rtts as a closer. i was wondering in like 7 years when im tired of being a closer and finally got my stamina up if i could some how switch to a starter. i havent tried to edit my secondary position yet but i know when i created my player i couldnt edit the secondary position, otherwise i would have put sp as his secondary.

I dont see why you couldn't, mainly because i put my guy as a 1B with no secondary and i still get an option under 'interactions' to ask for a position change.

As far as call-ups go, it's completely dependent on whats going on at the level above you. I got stifled in AAA for half a year because there was no room on the MLB team.. then got traded to a CRAP team and now im' a starter in MLB (thank you Athletics)

Made a CF an got drafted to the angels. He sucks lol 200 av no HR. I still play him once ina while but I made a SS and was drafted to the dodgers (i played on them in miniors when i was 10 lol) and I'm loving this guy. There AA team sucks though we went from first to worst. I made the allstar game an tied it with a HR then won the game ona RBI double the next ining. Thought I was gonna get called up but I didn't and am kinda glad I only have a month ina half left so might as well finish the season. Batting 351 8HR 44RBI, im usually batting lead off batter which is why my RBIS arn't as high but its nice being the lead off man but I also bat clean up sometimes. Also im league leading in steals with 45 (10 CS) my guy started off with decent speed, like 60 something

So, going pretty well. Both HR were in the same game. Team is in 1st place after 9 games.

First season. CF with the dodgers aa club. We were good. They called me up to 3a but then traded me to the white sox and there triple a is a joke. I just got benched for stealing without a signal from coach.
