Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I'm 29 years old in my RttS. Been awhile since I updated here. It was 2018 when I last posted here, and I was on the Cubs. I signed a three year deal with them but they traded me to the Marlins for Josh Johnson. I have put up three excellent seasons with Miami, and after eight seasons in the show, here are my career numbers:
140 W, 52 L, 2.34 ERA, 1,792 SO
I have won Rookie of the Year, three Cy Young Awards, and an MVP. I'm actually excited to finish this career, I've never made it this far but it has been going so well. My contract with the Marlins is up but I may want a change of scenery after the playoffs. We'll see what happens.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Won the World Series with Miami, but I ended up taking a contract with the Tigers. 8 years, $158 million. So it will take me until I'm 38, and I would love to retire with the Cubs.
I'm trying to keep this as close to reality as possible, and if it were me, I would move back to the Midwest to be closer to home.
Now that I have my stats where they are and have a ton of training points stored away, I usually sim games and play important ones. Right now with Detroit I'm 10-1 with a 2.31 ERA, with my first loss coming on Opening Day to the Red Sox.
It's also cool that I have been reunited with my catcher from the Cubs, Yasmani Grandal.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
You can counter offer but as far at what level they assign you its up to the team. Until you become a free agent with six years MLB service can you really move to the team you want providing they have a spot for you. When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Yogi Berra
Boise State Broncos
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Cardinals
Chicago Blackhawks
Los Angeles Lakers

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Hopefully I get the role I want then.
I was called up from AA to AAA then to MLB(AAA and MLB happened in same day lol) and then hit almost .300 in half a season in MLB, so surprising they send me back to AAAComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I am so done with this.. I'm pitching a 3 hit shutout into the 6th at Boston.. Then they start hitting everything in the world.. 0-2 pitches down and out of the zone, the defense starts making errors and I get taken out giving up 5 ER.. that kinda bs happens every gameFavorite Teams:
NCAAB- Duke Blue Devils (Defending National Champs!)
NASCAR- Kevin Harvick (Defending Sprint Cup Champ!)
NBA- Los Angeles Clippers
MLB- Miami Marlins
NFL- New York Jets
NCAAF- Duke Blue Devils
NHL- Carolina HurricanesComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Any help?
My guy keeps flying out to the warning track everytime I get out(either that,or ground into double play).
If I get a hit, its always up the middle, or a home run.
My average is barely over .250 right now cause of this!Comment
