So I originally I had 1B that I worked on but then I created a CP after 3 years in the majors with my 1B because he played for the Mariners, ugh... But pitching wears off on you too so I went back to my 1B eager to hit and FINALLY after SIX YEARS of requesting trades my prayers were answered in the offseason of 2018 I was traded to my favorite team the Cardinals!(No I am not a bandwagoner) we currently have the best record in the league of 29-13. I am hitting pretty well after an early struggle.

Just finished the 2020 season with the Jays. We made it to the ALCS but lost to the rangers in 6. They then went on to beat the Reds in the world series.

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Cincinnati isn't all the glamour you'd think it is. They're supposedly thin at 3B, but I'm repeatedly told my numbers are great but they don't have any spots open to promote me, so I'm still in AA, batting .310 with 4 HR an 45 RBI, and I just got to play for the World team in the futures game, however, so maybe it's not all bad.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Yeah, they have Scott Rolen but I figured he's 36-ish, so I had a chance of being called up as a bench player or backup for him. But then the Reds traded for Nick Castellanos, the Tigers top 3B prospect, giving me somebody else to wait behind. I'm starting to think any MLB future I may have will lie away from Cincinnati, after the lack of faith they've shown in me.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
After I Mentioned my future may lie away from Cincy, I turned my playstation on and the first thing that happened was the Reds dealing me for Nick Punto straight up. I wouldn't have minded, but I hear that Will Middlebrooks kid is pretty good, haha. Anyway, I was tearing the cover off the ball in AA, but I ruptured my ACL sliding into first base, ending my season. I thought it would be a setback, but in the offseason the Red Sox offered me a deal to be their AAA starter.
I managed to play a handful of games and sit on the 60 day DL which was enough to earn a promotion as well as an extra $30,000 aswell.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Started a rtts as a 1B and was drafted by the Marlins. Well I was doing decent in AA so I got called up to AAA Zephreys. There I exploded as I wasv batting .395 and sure enough they trade me to the A's for Gomes straght up. Derrick Lee and Barton are the 1B I soon pass Barton and get moved to the MLB. The A's made a trade involving Lee to the Marlins for 1B Chris Carter that was their third trade to the Marlins in the season so they have Greg Dobbs, me, and Chris Carter all from the marlins but I'm a starter now. The A's HAD NO CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAYOFF AS WE SAT IN 3RD PLACE the entire year. (The M's did finish 42 GB). In the offseason I signed a 1 year deal for $880,000. They signed Huston Street off the Tigers. In the Month of April and still in 3rd place.Rob Frost
