I didn't mean in game pitching. I was more or less referring to which attributes to focus on early on in your career to help you raise that overall rating early on.

Why in this game as a pitcher will there be a guy on 1st I get a ball hit to the 1st basemen he'll throw to 2nd and then instead of just taking 2 steps back to the bag he'll just stand there like he's in la la land

Apparently, I corrupted my data for my RTTS after getting the triple crown and breaking the single season record for home runs!! AGHHH I might start a new one but, i just gotta have some time to get over this haha

After a few seasons it definitely can get boring.. I had one on last years, played it consistently for about two months and got 5 full MLB seasons under my belt, got drafted by Astros, and after the 3rd season, I signed a 10 year deal for the Yanks with I believe a little over 170 million. I stopped playing at the end of the fifth season and finished with over 115 wins and under 30, or so losses... But the thing that makes it boring is what I guess would be accomplishing alot quickly, like MVP, Cy Young, ROTY, etc. so make the difficulty harder to make it more challenging if you want!

And for pitching,it doesn't matter whose on your team, or the ballpark you play in(not so much). When you're a batter, you can hit around all different parks, and your teammates will matter since they'll be the ones on base, or hitting when you're on base.

Why does my minor league player keep getting benched? I started the year as starter in Left Field on the Marlins Triple - A team. With just over 100 at bats i'm batting .320 with 5 home runs 30 RBI and slugging .590 and I get benched. What am I doing wrong?

You should probably run to cover the 1st base bag anyway.

I made about 5 starts with a guy who got drafted by the Tigers before jacking it in. I made a 3B who was drafted by the reds and I'm definitely having more fun as a position player.

Kenny powers got into the playoffs his first year with the rangers (2024 lol), dominated the ALDS/CS.. so we win the first three games and they want me to save the 4th to win the world series. i see we're up 10-6 and their biggest bats are on 1st and 2nd. this sounds easy, right?

well since we're playing in texas, the ball loves to fly. he's having trouble locating his pitches, and when he does throw strikes the batter hits it in the gap. eventually i give up 3 runs so i'm only up 10-9 now. runners on 3rd and 2nd. one of their power righties is at the plate and i'm down in the count 2-0. i throw him a slider and it hangs right over the middle of the plate.. he crushes it to left field.. but thankfully he only had warning track power cuz my left fielder caught it and we won the world series

edit: not even 10 minutes after i posted this i blew the first save of the next season on a 3 run home run. how weird is that?
