Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hit streak is in jeopardy.

With a triple in the 4th inning against the Indians, my RTTS Shortstop has now hit safely in 42 consecutive games.

Ironically, if this hitting streak continues, the 57th game will come against the Yankees.

I'm curious, has anybody broken any records (career or season)? I wonder what will happen if I break this record. Like will there be a ceremony or will the fans go nuts etc etc?

No there will be no celebration I think and you get 2000 training points and yes I did break the record thats why I know

just made a new closer and got drafted by the padres. using a 4 seam, sinker and slurve right now. he's had mixed results but for the most part solid out of the bullpen, with 16 saves in the middle of may.

Got a 40-40 season and triple crown! Matt Kemp is only reason I might not get triple crown cause he has like 100+ at bats more, and is about same amount of home runs

Talk about conspiracy....
First at bat..***nner on 1st, 1 out, I ground into double play scenario, but an error happens so its only 1 out they got

Next at bat..***nner on 1st, 1 out, I get on base by a walk

Next at bat...***nner on 1st, 1 out, they finally get me to ground into that double play.

It's as if me grounding into a double play is a running gag for the CPU or something.

so i'm playing a game in miami... you know, in that brand new stadium with the retractable roof... it's raining in miami and it seems like they would prefer to leave the roof open.

Just created a Right handed starting pticher and Got drafted by the Colorado Rockies. In my first two starts i have been excellent.

1st start: 8.0 innings, 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 4 strike outs. I got the win! i gave up the 2 runs the the first inning so i guess that would be first start nerves. But after that, i pitched 7.0 innings of 1 hit ball.

2nd start: I do even better this start even though i got the ND. me and the opposing pitcher were battling it out the entire game, pitch by pitch. I ended up going 7.0 innings, 4 hits, 9 strikeout! I used the points i earned the first game to get my fastball to 90 MPH. then i used the rest on Splitter break and Curveball control. The pitches i throw are 4 seam fastball, 12-6 curve, splitter. When i get called up to triple A i will try to implement a slider to keep the batters even more off balance. The next update will be after my next 2 starts!

3B on Red Sox. Just won the 2015 world series. Won the triple crown with a .369 avg, 60 hr, and 160 rbi.

I would like to sign with a different team, but for some reason I never get any contract offers during the offseason. My contract with the Red Sox is up, but the only new contract offer I get is to renew my Red Sox contract for 4 years. If I don't sign, my contract will just be renewed for 1 more year.

Anybody know how to prevent this from happening?

You are not eligible for unrestricted free agency until your 6th season of service.

Roofs obviously don't retract...

Just like in this game, the Jays playing in 40 degree temperatures despite the fact that they've never played a home game with the roof open and a temperature like that, in over 20 years(since before they played at their current stadium)

obviously not.. you would think that there would be two instances of a stadium, closed and open, but i guess not. i'm not complaining, i'm sure it's not easy to just put it in the game, but it kinda takes away from the realism. would love to see it in the future though. and i'm pretty sure that was a post

@kentucky kenny powers is in his 30s, just signed a 2 year deal with the rangers and i wanted to make another trip through the minors lol

anyways he got traded to the brewers in the middle of july as a package for aramis ramirez lol called up to AAA the next day. will be interesting to see how this plays out considering axford is the next one up... and we are the only two closers on the team.

If you're trying to point out me for using sliders and easy diffuculty your in a diffrent ballpark. I play on Legend w/ No sliders changed & yet can average 20 win seasons. This maybe due to the fact I have been playing sing 06 the show, idk. I'm not claiming anything the game just gets relitivly easy since I only have one guy.

Oh & guys I just finished my first season with the Yankees.

18-7 3.66 ERA .96 WHIP & I won Cy young. The Yankees went to the World series but lost in 4 to the Giants.):
Oh, well despite being about 15 years in the league but no ring is alright. If I don't get a ring next year I am going to sign with the Tigers but if we win the WS I'll stay it maybe time to hang up the spikes soon.

in FA how do you sign with different teams? only my old team will offer me a contract. is there a certain date i need to wait for? ive been stuck on the bench for the minnesota twins and i want to go somewhere else

edit: nvm i guess i need to wait 6 seasons

Playing on a higher difficulty than I usually do, got drafted by the ChiSox. After posting an unspectacular 3.50 ERA in my first three starts, I got injured, something with my ankle, not too serious. I came back after a week or two, and got placed in the pen? Then, thinking I'd get out of the pen, I tried to force my way deeper into ballgames than I should've, and tried to force outs, thus ballooning my ERA. Somehow in Mid-June, with an ERA in the mid-4 range, I got called up to AAA? Unfortunately I'm a Long Reliever which usually means I'm going to pick up split innings throughout the system. Anyone else get called up not in their usual role after posting an ERA over 4?
