Jays are terrible team? They're better than half the league right now..and in this game, it's into 2018, so their prospects have made it to the big leagues.

The team I'm on isn't terrible either. Missed playoffs by like 3 games in 2017.Though in my RTTS, seems like all playoff teams are hovering around .600 mark.

I just wanted to switch to 2B cause Jays have C overall guy at 2B, but Thames and Snider(both B overall guys, who also put up good numbers, and 25+ home runs too) are on the bench cause I'm the LF.

My secondary position is IF, so I'd have thought that requesting to be moved to 2B(with 99 fielding and everything) would have worked.

i originally signed a 1 year deal with them then a 3 year deal, but it paid off because the orioles traded me to the rangers for verlander straight up. they're 56-36 and 15 games ahead of the angels. playing for a contender is so much better than the orioles haha can't wait for the playoffs.

You said to blame myself for trying out for a terrible team...The only team I tried out for was the Jays, so thats why I thought you meant them.

I was drafted by Cards, and ended up staying there for years(since you can't leave unless traded) and then they traded me to Tigers in my final year of the contract(probably knowing I was gonna leave after the contract was up).

When my 3B was playing for the O's it wasn't fun at all ..every starter had records like 6-12 5.45+ ERA

i have an experiment pitcher, he's a submarine knuckleballer with a fastball and a 12curve. he's either really bad or really good. i tossed 7 shutout innings then the next game i gave up 5 runs before i even got an out. it's fun though...

                stats through his first 7 starts: 3-1, 37 IP, 5.59 ERA, 16 K, 1.70 WHIP, 57 H.. yea he's been getting shelled lol.

EDIT: i'm playing my kenny powers RTTS now, he's with the rangers and they're playing against the angels. they're both wearing their red jerseys and it's annoying as ****.

Just started a new RTTS today. I got drafted by the mariners, hopeully i get traded haha..I created a contact, high speed hitting 1B. I played about 15 games so far and I'm scorching hot.

I hit 3 hrs in the first 5 games, and hit 2 in my last 10. I don't understand though cause my contact is in the 40s, and power is in the 20s. I lead the league in every category except doubles. I have around 20 RBIs aswell. I think I might change the difficulty to HOF to make it more challenging.

Has anyone ever actually had success with changing positions? I couldn't get the manager to move me from first to short despite my high speed and fielding ratings, a starting shortstop with an OPS of >.600, and Paul Konerko sitting on the bench every single game.

Yeah your stuck at 1B trust me i had everything at 99 pretty much and they wouldn't move me anywhere when they were lacking in a lot of positions

So after hitting .096 for about three plus weeks, I took about two to three days off from the game and started playing it about twenty minutes ago, I've now homered in three straight games and counting. One HR was on a DH spot. I'm on deck again at the bottom the fourth after homering in the third inning.

The consequences of advancement goals (or failing to meet them, or specifically) are often unrealistic. For example, my CF failed two or three times in a row on things like "Hit 10 or more home runs" or "Drive in 30 or more RBI" (which, by the way, LOL @ that in a 3 week period), so he was benched.

The reigning AL MVP, hitting .371 with 9 HR and 34 RBI through 142 ABs, was benched for failing to meet some arbitrary performance metric. Oh, and the message from the coach was something along the lines of "I can't ignore how badly you're playing." L-O-****ing-L!

                              Anyway, carry on.
