I've tried everything. My guy is maxed out with 99 contact/power. I even have sliders on maxed out for contact/power/solid hits and my guy is hitting worse than anyone I've ever used before. I use exact same sliders with any team outside of RTTS and I can hit perfectly fine, I go to play in RTTS, and my guy sucks worse than most pitchers in the league(I can barely even hit .200 anymore). I'm on veteran too for RTTS so don't get how my guy whose maxed out can suck so badly. Ground into double play every single at bat someone is on 1B. Warning track pop fly everytime someone is on base, and a hit maybe once every other game.

Also doesn't help that my team sucks so bad, they're projected for under 45 wins after the 1st month of the season(this is MLB. How can you not even get 45 wins!)

Sounds like ur timing and clutch hitting might be the issues. The timing would be the reason for the pop flys. Also does it show the cold icon for ur RTTS Player? If so its very hard to get out of a cold streak. When I have hit one in the past I have tried changing my equipment look, for me it helps.

My guys entire zone is basically cold for both righties and lefties. Don't think it's even changed since my RTTS started(even when I was hitting like .400 and stuff in the minors)

Dude, seriously, try changing the batting stance. It makes a big difference.

With Prince Fielder's stance (my RTTS player is a lefty) I absolutely rake. But with generic stance 94, I dont think I could hit a Jamie Moyer 78mph poo-ball.

I changed the stance before and I ended up hitting like crazy in the minors, so don't know how the stance would make my guy worse in the MLB

Its just you man. You change the stance because the stance isn't working for you.

Kenny Powers is almost done with the Royals. He's at the end of August and ready to leave kansas city. this will be his first year as a free agent and he's been pretty damn good in the majors so far (already over 200 saves) so i think he's gonna get a pretty nice contract.

I was more referring to when it shows the batting lineups. Like some r on a hot streak so it shows and flame icon, some others have a blue like snowflake representing they r on a cold streak. Like I said in a previous post to you cold streaks r rough to get out of. The timing I was also referring to was you. But anyways I hope things turn around 4 ya!

well, kenny powers had a rough end to 2019 so his offers weren't too large. he only got a contract offer from the royals and the marlins, 2 years for 22 million. signed with the marlins on a 1 year 12 mil deal, then got traded to the yankees a day later. lol

Just started my first RTTS player this year, right-fielder Austin Clark. I was drafted to the Royals. Through 18 games (played in 18) these are my stats...

AB: 53
BA: .358 (leading the Texas League)
Hits: 19
Runs: 7
HR: 1 (just hit it last game)
RBI: 8
SB: 1
CS: 1
OPS: .767

I was warned for attempting (and failing) to steal in my 6th game. In my 10th game, I stole second and after the game I got an email from the manager saying I was benched for the next game.

Anyways, I will update at the end of each month starting in May.

Just thought I'd post some tidbits from my RTTS CF Matt Crock.

I got a Strained Oblique which resulted in me missing 2 games and being demoted to the bench. That was on 4-15-12, I was stuck as a bench player till 5-11-12. I just pretended that the strain was a lingering injury and which was why I was not made a everyday starter till it cleared up.

Something else I though was really cool, was our pitcher threw a NO HITTER! SP Andrew Carraway stats were as followed vs The Huntsville Stars

9.0 IP, 3 BB, 5 K

I didn't do much that game except did catch a ball up against the outfield wall in the 9th. I went 1-4.

Has anyone ever had any luck changing their position? I created a 1baseman and the fielding aspect of the game got boring pretty quickly playing first base. I've been asking pretty religiously every week to change my position but no dice. Is there a secret to it, or is it even possible? Just kind of wondering of anyone has ever had any luck?

In the edit player screen, maybe change your 2nd position to a spot you wanna play, and then request to be changed to that spot(but make sure the team you're on doesn't have good guys at that spot).

Or just don't field(or play 1B,but set the options so the game sims past all moments where you're not involved).

I've requested a change of position for my guy since I'm in LF, but got drafted by Cards, so obviously they'd wanna start Holliday over me. But I requested to be changed to 2B since they didn't really have anyone, and my secondary position is 1B/3B so they shuffle some things around and I ended up playing 2B/3B more often.

quick question

last year no matter what happened whatever team you chose to play with you ended up being traded, even when i bought skill points(i know i know) and made my guy a 99 overall rookie in the minor leagues i would still get traded

is this still as prevalent this year?

I find this year its more about how the MLB Team in ur organzation is doing. If they are in the playoff hunt then yeah they are likly to move you for a can help piece now. If your team sucks then they'll keep ya!

Hey, just signed up and taken a (quick) look over thread to read up.

I've created a Closing Pitcher, right now I'm up in the MLB bullpen with mixed results.

Still not entirely sure on what I should be focussing on to be honest. Do I spend by points (very hard earned right now!) on pushing up the K's, BB's, and HR stats? Or do I focus on my individual pitches?

Other thing is, at the start I chose a 2FSB, a knuckleball, and the curveball. The curve is the least developed, but the training is as hard as anything, because they focus on the knuckler. It's so unpredictable that I can't actually aim anywhere in particular with it! So I feel like I'm lagging behind in training. Any ideas or tips?

Need big points sooner rather than later. I ace Triple AAA ball, Majors is a mixed bag really.
