I'm not sure if this has been discussed but I found a way to not get traded. First, you NEED to have auto save off.

Try saving after every game, make a new save file every now and then. Ill give an example

" you have been traded to the Rockies in exchange for 1B Todd Helton"
Once you see a message that you have been traded, exit the game and re- enter. Go to your gameplay settings and set disabled list to manual. Put the player you were traded for( in this case Todd Helton) on the disabled list for 2 days( or however many you want). Repeat whenever you get traded again

This way you can get drafted by a team of your choice and stay there.

            Hey all, RTTS Virgin here.

I am a SP for the Reading Phillies in AA. My first year I had a 2.15 ERA and had a no- hitter.

The manager was a complete dick to me and said I would be fulfilling other duties in the bullpen towards the end.

What gives? I thought my stats were fine.

Oh, and this game is incredible. I can't believe I've never experienced past years versions of this game.

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

Hey guys, really need an advice, my RTTS is getting frustrating:
In my second year with a CF.
Started with the Orioles and instantly went on a tear.
I was called up to Triple-A after going hitting 3HR and 10 RBIs in 7 Games in Double-A.
Now im in late August 2013, still in Triple-A, would this be real life there would be no way a guy with this stats would still be in the minors.
I started great in the Triple A, made the Future Games and All Star game as a starter and then got traded to the Cubs. I was fine with that as i hoped to be traded since i would have a hard time to get to the majors behind Adam Jones.
Played great for the Cubs and finished my first season like this:
              96 Games, .478 AVG, 43 Doubles, 9 Triples, 35 HR, 127 RBIs.

I really thought my chances were great to make Spring Training, but i was wrong. I signed a 1-year Deal for 322K$, did not make Spring Training and started my second season just like the first one ended:
Unfortunately i hurt myself stealing second base and ended up being on DL for 60 Days.
I came back 3 weeks before the All Star Game and continued to swing a hot bat, made it to the future Games but missed the All Star game as #5 at Center Field.
Now im in late August, my numbers are bursting through the roof (63 games, .511 AVG, 32 Doubles, 13 Triples, 30 HR, 80 RBI) I mean, im leading the majors in Triples, Homeruns and RBIs with about half the number of At Bats than my follow ups.
I have always met all the goals, never failed a single goal period, but all i get is "bla bla bla you're doing great bla bla bla no room on 40-men-roster bla bla bla your time will come soon."
So tired of this, im a Center Fielder and second Position is Outfielder.
The Cubs have David DeJesus and Dayan Viciedo at Right Field, my overall rating is better than both of them.
They have Dave Sappelt starting at Center Field, my overall is better than his and hes everything else than hot this season.
At Left Field they traded Soriano for Jason Kubel and a prospect closer, ok, he is better than i am when it comes to ratings.

I just dont get it, maybe im just too anxious and it takes its time to get called up to the majors, i only did another RTTS with a closing Pitcher, a was bursting through the minors and was called up in my first season after the Minor Regular Season ended.

My stats are pretty good when it comes to offense, contact is at 68, power at 83, speed at 87, i mainly focused on offensive attributes since i only do the batting, but that should not be the problem.

I really hoped to get traded this year, but nothing happened. I even saved the game and simulated all the way through July 5 times, never got traded.

What can i do? I just dont get it why i dont get called up and im really unhappy with the team. Do you have any tips for me?
Everytime it was possible i requested a trade but always got rejected.

I know, the stats are unrealistic, but its ok for me now, since i just want to get to the majors and once there, ill increase the difficulty. My point is, i first started a career with a SS and just simulated all the Minors because it was no fun to play in the minors with all those players i dont know. Due to the simulation and a few injuries it took me until 2016 to make it to the majors, only to realize that most of the guys playing are minor league players who i dont know.
So that really sucked and i decided to restart and play all the way trough the minors and really shine there in order to get to the majors as soon as possible because i want to play with the players who are currently playing there.

I hate when I'm pitching really good.. I get to the 7th or 8th inning, and I give up a hit and I know I can get out of it but I get pulled..

And I swear the opposing pitcher always seems to be the best hitter ever.. I K more position players then the chance I K a pitcher
