After posting an unspectacular 3.50 ERA in my first three starts, I got injured, something with my ankle, not too serious. I came back after a week or two, and got placed in the pen? Then, thinking I'd get out of the pen, I tried to force my way deeper into ballgames than I should've, and tried to force outs, thus ballooning my ERA. Somehow in Mid-June, with an ERA in the mid-4 range, I got called up to AAA? Unfortunately I'm a Long Reliever which usually means I'm going to pick up split innings throughout the system. Anyone else get called up not in their usual role after posting an ERA over 4?
Not unusual at all. You'll likely be offered a spot in the starting rotation at the beginning of the next season, and that's if you don't work your way into it before this year is out.

    Good job on the promotion

So I'm getting mad, my guy is the n.l leading hitter and cargo got injured so randomly it says I'm starting 2nd when I play center. Although it says I'm starting 2nd I only pinch hit, even though I should play center. What do I do? If you have any questions just ask

Okay. My problem is that I play for the Rockies for center field, cargo got injured. The usual 2nd base man is no longer in the lineup. I got a message saying he got injured I was gonna step up, so when I check the lineups I play 2 nd. But when ever I play a game I either have pinch hit duties or I start at second and dubbed out immediately. I have 18 at bats over ten games when I average 35. I'm now no longer leading for silver slugger or hank haaron award(last name?) good enough?

You're talking about Carlos Gonzales? I don't think that's a super well known moniker..."cargo"...especially when there's no punctuation whatsoever.

So...let me get this straight. You're filling in for the CF...who is injured. You're starting regularly. But then the 2B get's hurt, and the coach tells you that you're going to be filling in for him? Now you rarely start, and when you do, it's spot duty? Am I getting this right?

              Is "cargo" healed up yet?

No offense, but I'm a Nationals fan, but I've always known Carlos Gonzalez as "CarGo".

I would say most fans of baseball recognize that is his moniker.

Odd. I'm a Giants fan who (because we share the same division) watches more Rockies games than most. I've never, ever, in my life, heard that nickname.

Very strange. Anyways, his post was very difficult to understand beyond the odd grammatical use of "cargo" randomly thrown in.

I do see how it was hard to understand as the post was very poorly written.

I tend to watch the Rockies games during the west-coast time slot, because I think they're fun to watch and he is always referred to as CarGo.

But again no worries my man!

I FINNALLY, FINNALLY won the World Series!! It took me time but I did it.
19-7 3.65 ERA .84 WHIP ( No hit the Red Sox at Fenway!) won MVP Cy young.
I've decided to call it quits with this guy. I hung up the cletes. Now, this is the first time I've done a full carrer so I didn't know what to expect but in the end I went to the HoF(: I'm gonna miss playing with this guy but. I already have a new guy in head. A 6'2 225 Average hitter LF. I'm sorta leaning for a Melky Cabrera. & I will sim *NO* games. I hope you enjoyed following the carrer of this guy. But You'll get simalar w/ a hitter.

Jeez, what a rough season so far. My power hitting 1b has been craptastic. Hitting .184 with 4doubles and 4 RBI granted its only been 8 games but add that to the 18 from the end of last season and he is 14-89 in AAA. I am playing on Legend with the only slider tweak, pitch speed to 4.

I wanted a challenge and this has definitely been one, but it will make getting to the show more rewarding. I hope.
