I haven't really been posting about my RTTS here, but I'm now in 2017 and I'm still with the Yankees as their starting RF.

In 2016 they did a straight 1-1 swap with Curtis Granderson for Yoenis Cespedes of the A's, but even though the team did well in 2016 we missed the World Series after losing game 7 of the ALCS to Boston... so the Yankees went full-Steinbrenner in the offseason...

They signed Clayton Kershaw, Freddie Freeman, Craig Kimbrel, and Jason Heyward.

They traded Mike Napoli for Carlos Santana, traded six players for Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas to KC, traded a bunch of players for Cole Hamels, traded Ivan Nova for Shelby Miller (MIN), and traded Yunel Escobar for Dee Gordon (LAD).

This team is absolutely stacked... and I was surprised that the Yankees didn't trade me away considering how quick they've been to trade players during the offseason.

I just passed 100 home runs and I'm closing in on 300 career stolen bases.

My team the A's did absoulutely nothing during the offseason and I'm stuck with them as their best player I wish they would trade Cespedes for a couple of guys so we can at least get close to first place

Ok so I just made a Power Hitting Right Fielder ( OF is second position)Strength he is 6'3 210 & buff.
Accessories- Mit is all dark brown. For my bat the bottom half is light stained and the top half is black. W/ pine tar. Style 1 batting gloves. I have an ankleguard on. and Baggy pants. Throws right bats right. style 1 cletes. I have half sleeves on both arms.
Batting stance is Generic 175.
all star diffuculty and timing hitting.
I decided to go through the draft and got selected by the ........... Royals.
I just finished my first game hitting 3rd in the line up and i went 2-3 with a BB and 1 double and a base hit. I have high expectations.

Yea, I'm gonna break DiMaggio's hit streak record, no doubt in my mind now. I think I'm at like 48-49 games now but my guy is on friggin fire to start this season. I think I've hit a homer in 5 straight games, 2 2homer games in that time. Seems like every fly ball I hit ends up going over the wall. I'll post video if i break the record.

Welp, my RTTS shortstop with the ChiSox is the new hit streak king, 57 games and counting.

Pretty disappointed though, practically zero acknowledgement of this feat. Actually, no acknowledgement at all!
When I tied DiMaggio at 56, the announcers made a comment about what I just did being "historic" and they said a few other things and my guy was standing at 2nd base, waving to the crowd.

That's it though.
When I broke the record the following game, nothing happened, not even a word from the announcers.
Maybe when the streak finally comes to an end they will say something and perhaps a little celebration will occur..

Haha I hear ya but believe it or not, I didnt.
At least when I started taking notice of the streak around 25-30 games, I didnt restart or anything. Don't know if maybe I turned the game off in the first few games of the streak from being tired, aggravated or whatever.. Other than that possibility, the streak is totally legit. Pretty cool.

I'm new to "The Show" and baseball games in general. I don't watch games on tv, but I'm a huge Braves fan and follow stats and news online, etc. I'll watch the big games though. Anyways, my RTTS profile.. just finished my first season, which was in AA.

Position: CF, switch hitter

HT/WT: 6'5 245

Drafted by: Cubs (I was excited by this because I wanted to be the guy to turn this franchise around)

Traded: I was traded on June 5th with another prospect to the Nat's for a playoff piece (I assume). I had just started to go on my streak by this time.

I had gotten my hitting % up to .347 (by the end of June) before my slump began, I ended up finishing the season around .305.

I did make it to the USA futures game as a pinch hitter, where I went 0-1 (I guess this was my call
to majors try-out -- fail?)

I steal bases whenever I feel like it, lol. I've gotten benched a bit because of it too. I'd say I'm a fairly successful base stealer. I became an every starter before the rogue play and then became a designated pinch hitter and at one point was a designator base stealer (guess I wasn't that good).

I just found out another CF got called up to the majors in early September and my manager told he he'd make sure they don't forget about me...

No big celebration. Go back up a couple thread entries, I already broke the record. My next game if I get a hit it will be 60 straight lol.. And what I meant by "first few games" was that in the first 25 games or so of my hit streak, there may have been a time or 2 where I couldnt finish the game so I had to turn off my ps3.. Thats all I meant by it.

RTTS is messed up.

I won the triple crown, and on Game 163....my team benches me!?!

The most important game in the season, and my team decides to bench the best player in the league! No matter how many times I reload the file, it does same thing.

Coaches/GM stuff really needs to be fixed in MLB 13

What's your durability? + take in consideration that a player gets tired he can't play every game

And to make things worse...my teams best transaction in the entire offseason(they had 40M in cap space).....Joe Inglett!

Well...nine games into my second AA season, I'm 5-30 , batting .167 with 4 rbi's. I haven't even gotten an email about my performance..do they not even care? I stink!
