With you being close to the 1/4 of a season mark, I'm curious how Hosmer's stats are looking & what (if any) slider adjustments you've made?

I've only played around 12-15 exhibition games so far & it seems like I hit an HR with Hosmer EVERY game!

    Thanks...

I don't mess with sliders but in 35 games Hosmer is hitting .331, has 12 home runs, 23 RBI, .396 OBP, .599 SLG, .330 AVG vs. RHP, .333 AVG vs. LHP, .175 AVG/RISP, .369 AVG @ home, .299 AVG away, 3-5 SB. If you want to know about anyone else just let me know.

      Thanks again!

Hosmer is on pace for 58-60 HRS! Granted, he may hit a cold spell & tail off? But your sampling & from what I've experienced... I MAY have to tone it down a little?

If you ever post in a "franchise progress" thread, I'd love to keep following you until Knight's rosters post...

Or, PM me with your progress anytime ;-)

Just finished the All Star Game and Im tied atop the central as the Tribe with the Tigers. I acquired Carlos Lee for some prospects earlier in the year. Im looking to make one more move for a 3B, not a big name but just someone who can play. Ive narrowed it down to Conor Jackson of the Ranger(barely plays and they Beltre, Hawpe, Moreland, Young), Casey McGehee of Pitt (their in last place, rebuilding and have Pedro Alvarez), and Adam Kennedy (Juan Uribe is tearing it up for LA)...any suggestions or possible deals? trying to keep this as realistic as possible. Thanks!

Jackson and Kennedy aren't 3rd basemen..have no idea why the game would label them as such....i'd go after Scott Sizemore on the A's....he won't wow u by any stretch of the imagination but he's a decent RH bat (as the Tribe lineup is predominantly lefty) plus he's versatile so u could play him at 2nd if u wanna give Kipnis a blow.....last but not least, u wuddnt have to give up much to acquire him...2 *C* prospects would be more then fine

Kennedy is labeled as a 3B and Conor Jackson's a 1B but can play 3B as well as a couple other secondary positions. Sizemore's on the 60 day DL in my chise, and ya im not looking for a big name im looking for someone who can contribute and help me this year and ill go after a big name in the offseason...I'm leaning toward Kennedy because I dont wanna make a big splash (even though McGehee isnt THAT good) i just dont see the tribe doing that. lol i dunnno...we'll seee...plus i hate scott sizemore lol..no reason, just do.

Probably because you'll only get 40 games out of him. ^

haha...no worries....in that case i'd go with McGehee just for the fact that he's righty....need to balance your line-up somehow some way

I haven't picked up the game yet (getting it in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday).

I just hope the trade logic is indeed better. Me and my friend usually chill out and play Franchise mode (I am always the Red Sox. This year, I think he's said he will be the Angels... because of Pujols), and we end up snapping a lot of really easy trades up.

I shouldn't be able to trade one of my aging outfielders who is about to retire to a non contender for one of their top prospects.

While waiting for the OS rosters I am doing a braves franchise because I never really played with them and they are an exciting team in a tough division. I have only made one trade so far:

                              jair jurrjens for brett gardner

Pitching is oviously the braves strength, with julio teheran needing room to start, I made the trade because I love the speed he brings to my lineup.

i think u could've gotten back a mid-level prospect in addition to gardner but if u like him go for it!....im assuming u gunna substitute gardner for prado in left?
