That's fair, but technically this is 2013 and a new reality in which Detroit didn't release him (he was released on July 16th, days after I started this franchise.) I included that bit to make it known the team didn't value him lol

But overall I think that deal is alright and helps both squads

Ehh, fair enough. It's fair value though.

Yeah, you should ask for Dayan Viciedo while you're at it. The fat Cuban is hitting .400 with an OPS over 1.000 with a 15 game hitting streak in my young season.

Maybe add Viciedo as well if you want it to be somewhat fair for yourself.

My season started off slow getting swept by Texas and losing 2 of 3 in Cleveland. There were some real nailbiters in Texas but my pen was atrocious in Clevelend. Won 7 of 9 and back to .500 now thanks to bullpen callups and Viciedo. I'm afraid to see what happens when he cools down and you know he will...I modified Scott's rosters to more resemble opening day though the draft picks are in there (but I won't allow them to be traded this year). I'm using close to A&S sliders withing timing hitting and classic pitching so my skills don't ruin the GM aspects...I still haven't figured out how to replace Paulie after this season or get any left-handed bats in the lineup. Any ideas?

I doubt that Melky is going to test positive in my SCEA digital world, that is a good possibility.

Ha! David Ortiz kinda hates Boston and loves Yoooouuuuk.... He'd be a good option.

If only chemistry factored into the game somehow. That would be an interesting addition to say the least.

I've got a question about Seattle's trading strategy IRL. Is Felix Hernandez totally untouchable, or would they trade him if they were blown away by an offer? What about when he reaches the final year of his contract? Would they be more willing to listen to offers then? I really don't follow the M's at all so I have no idea how he is valued there.
