Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
White Sox are a challenge in the long term but have a core for the next few years. Flowers will replace AJ and hit 30 bombs. You just gotta replace Konerko and eventually Dunn. Maybe find a SP but Castro does pretty well. Draft and develop and you are done.Comment

I object to Flowers hitting 30 HRs, but that's off topic."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
4 games before the All-Star break and the Red Sox are 42-40, sitting in 3rd place in the AL East (8.5 games behind Toronto) and need pitching help (season ending injuries to Clay Bucholz and John Lackey).
My Astros have the worst record in baseball and would like to start thinking about selling.
Would it make sense to pull a deal now? I'd figure they would want try to cut into that 1st place lead asap and not wait till the end of july.
Do you think they would be interested in these two lefties to be a back of the rotation guy?

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Running a franchise with the Jays, and the Stros are 14.5 out at the start of July. Just have a few questions.
1. Lind is hitting .219 and Carlos Lee is hitting .285. Should I make a deal for him?
2. How much would it cost for him?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Adam Lind for David Ortiz? Is it fair?
Kelly Johnson for Martin Prado? Is it fair?

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Would this be a fair trade for Yovani Gallardo? Keep in mind I'm in year 3.
I receive: Yovani Gallardo 28 y/o ( 8.5 mil, final year of contract)
Brewers (33-48 12 GB of the Reds in the Central) receive:
3B Edinson Rincon 23 y/o (C ovr, High B pot)
1B Chris Parmelee 26 y/o ( C ovr Mid B pot, did get stock is rising email)
SS Robert Barksdale 19 y/o (High B pot. D ovr)Comment
