Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
JV's ERAs in 2012/2013 were 4.18/4.78, Tigers didn't even make the playoffs in 2012, squeaked in but don't stand much of a chance in 2013. JV's in the last year of his deal, being paid 22M. That's a lot of money. His BABIP in 2013 (not sure about 2012) was/is .309, which won't regress *too* much, maybe a few points.
I'm willing to give up:
Josh Johnson, Jake Peavy, Justin Nicolino, Colby Rasmus, J.P. Arencibia/Travis d'Arnaud, Drew Hutchison, Jose Abreu (but they've already got him in Miggy/Fielder), Aaron Sanchez, Noah Syndergaard, Daniel Norris."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hutch = 23, had a Shelby Miller like time in the MLB in September (about a .87 ERA in like 20 IP), but had a great time in AAA (stats in link)
Abreu = 22, stats in the link below, high B
Sanchez = 20, stats in link, mid-high A
Synder = 20, stats in link, low-mid A
Norris = 19, stats in link, low A
Here's my minor league stats. TDA isn't there 'cause I called him up w/o taking down his stats."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

After that, Gerald Laird takes over, and since Brantly is gone, they're pretty screwed lol.
J.P. Arencibia hit like .241 w/ 29 HRs this year. Has steadily improved his production every year."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Nope, nothing much, and in 99% of sims I've run, Alex Avila ends up as the Phillies' 3B.After that, Gerald Laird takes over, and since Brantly is gone, they're pretty screwed lol.
