Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Again, it's really too early in the season to say these teams are "out of contention". The Twins would probably be willing to trade Willingham, however, because they aren't making the playoffs this year.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So in my Twins franchise I have 2-3 rotation spots that are used by AAA guys that all have 5+ ERAs and D or C potential so its getting really frustrating pitching with all of them.. Do you have any ideas of guys of the top of your head that could be nice projects that can be had with C prospects (Doesn't matter how many or how high of a C)Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Kevin Millwood: 6-4 2.88 ERA 68 SO 93.2 IP (M's are in first in the West)
Scott Feldman: 2-1 3.49 ERA 23 SO 28.1 IP (Rangers are contending, a lot of SPers ahead of Feldman though)
Saunders is doing well with a competing Diamonbacks..
I hate Maquis just because of how he did with the Twins IRL haha.
Danks is intra division and is doing well for a competing White Sox.
Humber is in my division so I don't think that'd be very realistic (although Liriano was traded inter division) Plus Humber is injured, stats are 1-0 6.55 ERA 15 SO 22 IP
Pelfrey: 8-1 1.21 era 58 SO 81.2 IP (in AAA)
Lannan: 1-4 3.95 ERA 21 SO 41 IP (in AAA)
Jurrjens: 5-4 3.78 ERA 64 SO 65.2 IP (in AAA)
Stauffer: 5-1 2.04 ERA 57 SO 66.1 IP (in AAA)
Mosely: No stats?Comment

I doubt they'd trade him, actually, in that case.
Scott Feldman: 2-1 3.49 ERA 23 SO 28.1 IP (Rangers are contending, a lot of SPers ahead of Feldman though)
Two c's. Feldman is always attainable.
Pelfrey: 8-1 1.21 era 58 SO 81.2 IP (in AAA)
Two C's.
Lannan: 1-4 3.95 ERA 21 SO 41 IP (in AAA)
One low C.
Jurrjens: 5-4 3.78 ERA 64 SO 65.2 IP (in AAA)
Two c's.
Stauffer: 5-1 2.04 ERA 57 SO 66.1 IP (in AAA)
One C.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Blanton shut me out and is dominating for a good Phillies club.
Zito: 2-0 2.18 ERA 15 SO 20.2 IP for a competing Giants team.
Garcia: 3-7 4.90 ERA 59 SO 68 IP for a competing Yankee squad.
Hochevar: 6-3 3.84 ERA 62 SO 82 IP for the surprisingly good Royals.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You need more help? I can always give you more names if you need. Some guys you can get for C prospects are:
Freddy Garcia (NYY)
Phillip Humber (CWS)
Derek Lowe (CLE)
Scott Feldman (TEX)
Carlos Zambrano (MIA)
John Lannan (WSH)
Chris Volstad (CHC)
Randy Wolf (MIL)
Jake Westbrook (STL) (might take a B if the Cards are in contention)
Jeremy Guthrie (COL)
Tell me if you want realistic trade options for any of these guys.
Whats up with Jair Jurrjens..? I pitched him 5 innings and he had 9 strikeouts and 1 walk (thats huge considering I walk the most batters in the league and strike out the least..) and he only gave up 4 hits.. They just all happened to be solo HRs. Guess hes prone to the longball.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm in my second season of my Red Sox franchise, and I traded 3 A's and 2 B's for Giancarlo Stanton and through free agency, my current lineup is:
CF - Jacoby Ellsbury
2B - Dustin Pedroia
DH - David Ortiz/Mike Napoli
RF - Giancarlo Stanton
3B - Will Middlebrooks
C - Mike Napoli/Ryan Lavarnaway
1B - Adam LaRoche
LF - Jason Bay
SS - Jose Iglesias
I'm looking for an upgrade in LF because my options right now in-house are Jason Bay, Jerry Sands, Ryan Kalish, Brandon Jacobs, and Daniel Nava, I'm looking for a good defense with a good bat or a power hitter with an okay defensive ability, any suggestions on who I can do?Comment
