    There's Sam Dyson. He's a reliever, though.

John Stilson hasn't pitched ABOVE AA, but he's pitched at AA, and is a mid-B SP/RP (could go either way, which ever way WAS wants), he could work.

Don't know anything in-depth about them but Stilson feels like the safer bet among the two. Rizzo would have to be overwhelmed to move Zimmermann. Keep in mind that many people thought that Wilson Ramos would break out heading into 2012 with 20+ HR's. I'd think that they'd have to sour on him first before considering Arencibia. In my eyes, Ramos gets a mulligan for 2012 given the hostage situation and his injury

Looking at their Bill James 2013 projections I'd probably go with Arencibia since they're contending and such.

I could throw in another B outfielder... Anthony Alford or Dwight Smith Jr. There's also Mitch Nay and Matt Dean, who are eerily similar power hitting 3B who could move to LF/2B. Both B's.

I'd say Arencibia and another low B would do it. Either a pitcher or a young outfielder.

I'm tempted to peg it at JPA + low B OF + low/mid B SP, just as a mix of realism and fairness.

Just as a survey question, who does everyone think I could get for JPA? It'd have to be an SP, of course.

Zimmerman's stuff profiles as a strong #2/borderline #1 - two plus pitches (fastball, slider), average third pitch (curveball), plus command, plus makeup... He's also under team control through 2015, so I think whatever the Rays can get for Shields the Nats can get for Zimmermann, maybe a tad bit less.

I think that the Shields value comp may be a little high... Shields has consistently been pitching very well for 7 years. Zimmerman's only been doing it for two.

                  Sounds ok to me

                  Paxton/Walker/Hultzen from the Mariners?

Leake or Bailey from the Reds? (No clear need for a C though)

Karstens and Tabata from the Pirates?

Masterson from the Indians? LaPorta outrighted, Hafner and Kotchman ain't coming back meaning more time for Santana at 1B over Russ Canzler. Only other C is Lou Marson so Arencibiba would be a fit

I'm looking for more of an in-his-prime MLB starter.

Clayton Richard? The Padres are starving for offense and even though they have Grandal at C and Alonso at 1B, they could be a fit.

Masterson's 2011 was really his only good year.

Jon Niese and a low B/high C from the Mets for Arencibia?

Hedges and Grandal and Hundley = no need for Arencibia.
