Lee is 35 and his salary is only 2.5 mil for his last contract year. I am so glad this game does not use real MLB salaries if it did Lee salary would be 18.5 million for his final year. Talk about too much money.

Salary seems to be a HUGE issue this year when making trades on the show. Thats seems to be the biggest roadblock when trading.

If anyone is curious on what all current 25 man roster MLB players per team get paid check out this site.

What do you think about this deal: I'm the Astros and it's mid june, I'm in last place 15 games under 500. Tigers are leading their division by 7 1/2. Vmart is out for the year, Fielder is on the 15 day DL. If I offered them Lee and wandy could I get any combination of Turner, Oliver, Smyly, and Castleeanos? I'm not trying to get all 4, just some combo of 2 or 3.

        Is this doable and fair?

I am trying to get Brandon Inge from the Tigers, i offered them Marlon Byrd and Jeff Baker and the bar is at full, however i feel i am giving up to much.

What should i offer to get Inge as i need some help at 3B and in 10 games he has had 2 AB's.

          Thanks.

I would almost say Jacob Turner in an untouchable, but I could be wrong on this.

Is there any reason the Nats won't give up Ian Desmond? I've given it many, many tries with two different franchises, and I have found one combination of players that'll make them move him.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

I am seriously thinking about this trade but i would like some input from you guys.

Cubs Receive: 3B Edwin Encarnacion [29 Yrs, C Pot], LF Travis Snider [24 Yrs, B Pot]

Blue Jays Receive: 3B Josh Vitters [22 Yrs, C Pot], 2B Logan Watkins [22 Yrs, C Pot], 1B Dan Vogelbach [19 Yrs, B Pot]

I need a 3B as Stewart and DeWitt are not doing great things for me and i need a LF that i can platoon with Soriano and can also play RF and CF especially with this season as i am looking at trading both Byrd and Soriano at the deadline if not before.

They get a 1B of the future who has great upside at only 19 and a pair of C prospects that can have a crack at Triple A.

First of all, on your side, Encarnacion is NOT a 3B. He is horrible at it. Trust me. Second, the Blue Jays have Lawrie and Johnson, so Vitters and Watkins are useless. So that's basically Vogelbach for Snider and Encarnacion, which they would never do, especially because of Mike McDade and Adam Lind. For that package, since the Jays value Snider so much, and like Encarnacion, they would want either a power bat or an end of the rotation starter. You'd have to overpay for Snider. Encarnacion, you could get reasonably.

Doable, probably, fair, no way. You could get one of those for them.

Turner and Castellanos are off limits so the most realistic would probably be Smyly or Oliver. My guess is that Smyly is the odd man out of those 4 you're mentioning - if we gotta pick one. Don't think the Tigers would eat both contracts and give up more than one of their top prospects.

Rasmus is a pretty integral part of that team, and they have a good young rotation as it is. Not to mention Colby is only 25 and has some great years ahead of him. Unless the Jays are in dire need of pitching and in contention for the playoffs, I can't see that trade happening.

I'm the Reds, I have Billy Hamilton as my "infield utility player" he plays 2nd,3rd,or SS when the starters need a break. So, I need a power hitting 3rd basemen. A prospect preferably or just someone who is decently young. Any ideas?
