Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm not sure that matters. Gallardo is 26 and has an A potential, not to mention he's already a stud of an ace. What some might call a franchise pitcher. I think it would take more than all B prospects.EPL - Arsenal
MLB - Seattle Mariners
NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers
NFL - Philadelphia Eagles
MLS - Seattle Sounders

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What do you think about this deal: I'm the Astros and it's mid june, I'm in last place 15 games under 500. Tigers are leading their division by 7 1/2. Vmart is out for the year, Fielder is on the 15 day DL. If I offered them Lee and wandy could I get any combination of Turner, Oliver, Smyly, and Castleeanos? I'm not trying to get all 4, just some combo of 2 or 3.
Is this doable and fair?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You might be right about Simmons and Delgado but, I do not think either of those are in the "untouchable" category like Teheran. I think if Atlanta could trade for better RH bat to put in the outfield they would absolutely deal one or both of Delgado and Simmons. Rasmus may not be a bad Plan B. I'm coming off Simmons though and I'm thinking about doing this.
I'm thinking about this trade:
-SP Jair Jurrjens (who I think will be the current starter that is moved to make room for Teheran or Delgado in the near future)
-SPSean Gillmartin
-3B Edward Salcedo/3B Joey Terdoslavic Would trade one, not both
FOR
-CF Adam Jone
I know enough about the Braves farm system to feel comfortable with trading certain player. I just don't know enough about the Orioles to know what exactly they would be looking to get in return for Adam Jones.
I'm not 35 games into the season and the Orioles are already in last place and 8 games out of first. 2012 is going to be another cellar finish in the East. If I thought they could still contend this year then I would look for a different trade partner.Last edited by hoopla32; 04-21-2012, 03:37 PM.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Alright how about Gibson ( 24 y/o B pot ) Aaron Hicks ( 22 y/o B pot ) Then.. I could throw in any prospect but Benson ( hes out for 2 months ) and I really want to keep Sano because I feel like hes a future perennial All-star. Chris Parmelee is hitting .280 for me but I'd be willing to use him ( B pot ) But really I'd throw in anything you guys have in mind.. I just want to try and make it fair. My thinking was the Brewers have 3 A potential minor league pitchers so they need to start making room and they need sticks for their future lineup.
I'm also open to other ace worthy pitchers or prospects.Last edited by MattGarza13; 04-21-2012, 03:57 PM.Comment
