straight up? or can i add some prospects in there? b/c with the plouffe trade i can add other prospects such as kyle gibson. (but i wont do that)
sounds like another option to try out at the deadline.

yeah u'd have to add prospects (nobody major)...but Davis would add some much-needed speed to the Mets

Mets franchise in the middle of the pack about a month in simulated a couple years. got rid of pelf, dickey and bay retired, got wheeler harvey familia in the rotation, gee in the pen, put brandon nimmo in center with torres, duda and loewen in right, puello and hairston left. Looking to trade Rauch, Torres and two C pitching prospects. Trying to add a good right handed bat, maybe a SS to switch on and off with tejada or a better 4th outfielder. A better 2nd catcher to pair with thole or a backup first baseman

I'll have to check on Chris Young and the D-Backs. Last I remember they were in the middle of the race but haven't looked lately.

Might look into bundling somebody like Jurrjens in on the deal or something maybe refill some prospect shortages at some key positions.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

I am running a franchise with the Brewers. At first i tried my hometown Astros and anyone that is running a franchise with them...lots of respect. I dont have the patience to run a franchise with them. I need helping on making my push to the playoffs, even though the season just started. I havent play the Show since 09 and havent really watched alot of baseball since 09 either. There are alot of younger players out there, that I am not aware of because of my gap in watching baseball. So hopefully someone out there with more knowledge then myself can help. I plan to trade later on in the season, no reason to really do a big trade in April. I use the OS 2012 Full Minors rosters, and everyone on my team is who the Brewers currently have.

I play every game with the Brewers and I am sitting at 11-6 tied for 1st with the Cards. My 1-5 Hitters Gomez/Morgan, Weeks, Braun, Hart, Ramirez are all hitting at least .250-340 so 1-5 are fine unless someone gets hurt.
Everyone else is batting under .200 and its costing me a lot of runs. I am confused on what to do because Gamel at 1B does not look like it will work. The brewers dont seem to have any IF positions in the minors who are rdy to become a Star. After Hart the Brewers line up just dies, and i am finding it hard to do anything with them. I need one more good hitter, would prefer a 1B/SS since OF is not an isssue. Age is not a huge issue to me.

I am asking help for any ideas on who to trade, I dont want to trade away Braun, Weeks, Gomez, Greinke. The brewers have good pitching talent in the minors and they have 3 A pot pitchers to use as trade bait.

Starting Pitching is too early to tell but Zack Greinke, Yovani Gallardo are pitching great so far. My bullpen its too early to make a judgment

if the Orioles fall out of contention, u can always trade for Mark Reynolds (his secondary position is 1B)......or Carlos Lee from the Astros......or Garrett Jones from the Pirates....or Adam Dunn from the WhiteSox.....as for SS, there's Cliff Pennington from the A's, Jason Bartlett from the Padres....i just gave u some guys from potentially non-contending teams....just depends on who u deem isn't gunna contend and how realistic u wanna be

On a side note, i LOVE playing with the Astros....there's pieces that i cant wait to bring up from the minors and hopefully i can get them to contend in year 1

What would it take to get cespedes from the a's? How about SP Jenrry Mejia B ovr B pot, SP Cory Mazzoni C ovr C pot, CF Matt Den Dekker C pot?

As a fellow A's fan what do you think would be a realistic deal for Hanley, assuming the Marlins arent in contention at the break, and we can even pretend Hanley is disgruntled at third base lol

And the Marlins will accept the deal I posted, not that this games trade logic means anything

You're probably right. Guess vmart to be my backup C/1B/DH is the answer. How much is reasonable to have to give to get a 35 year old victor martinez? Simulated 2 seasons so he's aged a bit..

What about Choice, Parker, and Norris for Hanley?
