Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
if Sizemore can stay healthy, yeah its a flat-out steal.....Pena is a one-trick pony on offense but if that's what ur lookin for lol........the Sanchez trade is a steal for u too....none of the players ur willin to give up will bring u back much.....but since ur lookin for a 1-year rental, how about Mark Ellis from the Dodgers?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I just couldn't find anyone who would take them, even for their lowest rated player. Finally got the Braves to bite on Soriano had to throw in a "B" rated RP and a "C" SP, but I got Mike Minor back... Fair?Comment

Avila plays a premium defensive position, is 25, and he's coming off a year in which he posted a .895 OPS. Given his current contract status, I'm sure a majority of big league clubs would prefer him over Prince.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Ellis is done for the year in my game but i think i just got the biggest steal ever. I just sent an A pot. catcher, Pena (i know, already), and Theriot to the Phillies for CHASE UTLEY AND ROY HALLADAY. Completely unrealistic and they would have excepted just the catcher and Theriot but i thought i'd at least add in Pena to be somewhat realisticSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

At third behind/in place of Rolen when he gets hurt. Also may add him to the LF platoon. Also would just love to have a solid left handed bat coming off the bench.Comment

I know Soriano isn't liked very much but he is really the only power in the line up. I'm gonna keep him around until the deadline. If i"m in the race i'm gonna keep him around.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

i wouldn't think of trading Bailey for a back-up/platoon guy....even if u were gunna do that trade, i'd ask the Mets to throw in a decent prospectSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Bailey is extremely expendable to me because I am moving Chapman into my fifth starter spot.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am guessing Rolen is going to retire after this season and Murphy would be my everyday starter after year 1. Bailey and Murphy are both injury prone so I don't know how willing either team would be to add a prospect. Plus if I do trade with the cpu I prefer to make it slanted toward them.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Red Sox franchise, and I was wondering if you thought this would be a fair trade:
Xander Bogaerts A pot. 19 y/o SS
Will Middlebrooks A pot. 23 y/o 3B
Nick Punto C pot. 34 y/o SS
for
Ian Desmond B pot. 26 y/o SS
Danny Espinosa B pot. 24 y/o 2B
Jordan Zimmerman A pot. 25 y/o SP
I am planning on having Youkilis walk off into free agency, and having Desmond play 3B and Espinosa play SS for the future.
