About to start my White Sox chise. I want to deal (at least) one of Gavin Floyd or John Danks. In the off-season, both the Jays and Red Sox were rumored to be after them. What prospects should I look for in return for one of these pitchers? Also, what other teams could you guys see interested in Danks or Floyd?

i wouldn't expectin much more then 2 B's for Floyd and a B and C for Danks...as for who could use either, im thinkin the Royals, Mets, A's, Astros, Pirates, Dodgers, Padres

Started my first ever Franchise with my Giants today. My first trade I saw that someone traded Pagan to Cleveland for Sizemore but that didnt work for me so I sent Pagan and Huff for Sizemore and two B pot prospects. Still think its a steal. Then got a major steal when I traded a C pot prospect for Carlos Pena. Pena may not hit over .250 but Giants obviously need a homerun hitter and Pena is perfect. Also as a side note i got rid of Sanchez (he was hitting .150 in the first month) for two B pot prospects from the 'Jays. Theres one thing i need upgrade and its my middle infield. I need a decent hitting 2B to last me for one season. Im not very realistic by any means, and the players i will not give up are:
Lincecum, Cain, Bumgardner (?), Wilson, Romo, Sandoval, Posey, Belt.

Those are my only players that i will not move no matter what, some players id prefer not to move but i will consider. Im looking to get rid of:
Schierholtz, Theriot, Blanco, Casilla.

if Sizemore can stay healthy, yeah its a flat-out steal.....Pena is a one-trick pony on offense but if that's what ur lookin for lol........the Sanchez trade is a steal for u too....none of the players ur willin to give up will bring u back much.....but since ur lookin for a 1-year rental, how about Mark Ellis from the Dodgers?

Running a cubs 'chise, and I want to dump Soriano, Byrd and/or Reed Johnson, and Vitters. Who could I get for these guys? I'll take just about anybody, I would even be fine with the cpu getting the better end of the deal.

Looking for a 3B for the Brewers as well. Just never liked Aramis Ramirez.

I am in the same boat. I was really hoping they didn't sign a good 3B so I could trade the rest of the farm system to get Wright which is one of my favorite players and maybe be able to roll with the Brewers this year and not get burned along with watching them all year. I never did before because Braun & Prince occupied the 3 & 4 spots and couldn't bring myself to have Wright in the mix, but now I would have had Braun 4 & Wright 3. I am a bit realistic though and can't get rid of Ramirez to get Wright.

I went with Playing the White Sox and GM'ing the Brewers and if Gamel sucks and in contention I will most likely trade Konerko to the Brewers and relieve them of some of their over rated pitching from the OS rosters.

So to bring this post to what the thread is for. What can I get for Konerko prospect potential wise? I do know I want to rob them of that overly rated SP'ers. I was thinking a A & B. Thornberg and Heckathorn would be my choices. Too much? Too little? I just am not sure when it comes to be fair and not so much would these teams trade these guys because I highly doubt the Brewers would deal Thornberg so soon.

u could probably get a B or C for Soriano depending on his contract in the game.....C for Byrd and D for Johnson....Vitters is a B/C prospect so only fair to get a B or C prospect in return

Edit: Soriano's only makin 2.4M so its not out of the realm to ask for a B in return

No chance the Brewers would trade u guys they JUST drafted..as for your Konerko question, asking for an A &B prospect AND having that team be on the hook for his 2 year 22M contract is not fair...i'd ask for 2 B's

Yes I was very aware that they were drafted in 2009 & 2010 which is why I said that in real life they wouldn't do it, but thanks for finally answering my question after stating what I already knew. I was right in my assessment on what he could be delt for. It was only something I was gonna do IF the Brewers were in contention near the trade deadline and IF Mat Gamel was stinking up the joint. Most people say they were over rated and should be B's to begin with so I wasn't so skeptical on taking a A & a B off of them. Hell, some would say Heckathorn is not even a B.

Does anyone else have troubles trying to trade for Alex Avila? Ive offered several A prospects (which I dont think hes worth) but no budge. I can get Fielder/Cabrera easier.
