In my Braves franchise, I, like so many others, want an upgrade in LF. My initial thought was try to get Gordon from KC, but he's a cornerstone for that franchise and that wouldn't be realistic before the season, maybe a deadline deal. I also read on here about Gardner and Rasmus, all Gardner would do is give me speed, but Rasmus is an intersting option as well.

For some reason, Gardner is easy to get it seems like, but I doubt the Yankees would part with him unless you gave them a real All-Star player. Ramsus, on the other hand, could work.

or if the poster thinks Wright has *untouchable* status, how about Mark Reynolds?

I could very easily see Wright in a Dodger uniform as well as Reynolds. I guess the next question would have to be what would one have to give up for Wright/Reynolds?

Bautista was a long shot. Just thinking of him in the outfield with Kemp and Either would have been killer.

u'd have to give up more for Wright than Reynolds....the Mets would definitely ask for a major-league ready A prospect, 2 being more likely....with Reynolds, u can probably pry him away for 2 B's

I have a theory, why the AI would trade Gardner so easily:

There are 2 overally better players on the Yankees roster in his position.

Really looking to get a ace type pitcher on my team.

I was thinking Johan Santana. The computer would accept Liriano and Perkins. Not sure I want to give up Perkins. Any thoughts?

For Santana probably Liriano + an A prospects and a high C or low B.

thats a bit too much considering Santana hasnt been on a mound in a year (although the game doesnt realize that)...Liriano + a B is fine....Liriano may be the prime model of inconsistancy but he aint a scrub

Problem is I don't think they will accept that. I tinkered around with it and they seemed to love Perkins and he was the only person that got it to a full bar.

getting a full bar doesnt mean they would go thru with the deal...if it was perkins for santana str8 up, obviously its a no-brainer even tho i'd feel bad and throw in a decent prospect or two (if im the twins)

Gonna be perfectly honest, I have no idea. Joel Zumaya is a free agent, that could work?

Zumaya has the durability of a used carbon monoxide detector...i wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole unless i was in late august/early sept.
