SMH! how do you guys get these trades in... i can't trade grady sizemore for anything. The trade block doesn't work either.. man i'm so not used to this game.. i hate to say it and i know everyone is going to try and stone me now but at a time like now i like mlb 2k better than the show(not gameplay wise)

Huh, trade block was working great for me. One thing you should know is that most trades in the game start happening in July, that seems to be when teams change their strategy to "Playoff Push" or "Rebuilding". I've done a number of sims and I'll get lots of trade offers from the CPU during July for guys on my trading block.

Anyone know a RP who's relatively young (under 28) and worth what I have to give up; I could trade for? I have Kerry Wood as a set-up but I'd love to get another RP I can use as the set up guy with Wood. Preferably a righty.

Right now I'd be willing to give up CF Marlon Byrd, a C potential 19 year old 2B, a C or B potential SP whichever one I must part with, and even my 28 year old 1B Brian LaHair. If the RP is more top tier and I have to give up more quality, I could possibly find another B pitching prospect I'd be willing to give up.

My first choices would be Byrd, B/C pot SP, C pot position prospect. I don't necessarily need to give up everyone I mentioned for them; they are just what I'm willing to give up for pitching. If a one-for-one swap was the option, of course I am giving them Byrd.

Sorry for the loads of info, just trying to be specific. I do like to keep my trades realistic in what is given up/received.

I'm pretty upset about the trade logic this year. Last year at least I had to give up A prospect to get a good player. But now the following could happen:

DiceK for McCutchen and N.Walker
Aviles for Zobrist
DiceK for Gardener

David Robertson from the Yanks? although they'd have no use for Byrd....they'd want a ready, major-league player in return

the trade logic is what it is...i dont envision it improving any time soon.....the DiceK for 'Cutch and Walker is literally absurd...if u wanted to be fair, u wouldn't accept any of the 3 proposed trades u mentioned

lol @ Jenks for Ogando.....there's nothing wrong with signing FA's....wonder what u'd do if Soler and/or/when Oswalt signs with another club IRL tho lol
