I'm looking for somebody under 28, who can back up Adam Lind. Needs to have power, and decent speed. I will look into Headley.

Oh, not back up as in back up, but bat 5th behind Lind, who bats 4th. Like a Matt Holiday to Albert Pujols.

Headley is more a 6 hitter then 5....he doesnt have that consistent 25-30 hr pop...CarGo would fit your mold perfectly....u'd just have to give up a whole lot to acquire him

Gonzalez would be amazing, but yeah, I already had to deal some amazing prospects to get Garza and Lind, I don't have a whole lot left that I am willing to part with.

That could work, he was once a Mariner too. One of the Mariners brilliant moves giving him up.

Currently have a franchise with the Dodgers and am looking to get a solid 3B. Uribe just isnt cutting it for me thus far. Who should I go after, and what would be a good package deal. Also, would be nice to get Jose Bautista to round out the outfield.

David Wright might be a good pickup. The Mets are in rebuilding mode, so they might deal him. Bautista, on the other hand, is just about untouchable in real life.

or if the poster thinks Wright has *untouchable* status, how about Mark Reynolds?

You mentioned Bautista, he happens to be an excellent third baseman as well.

If we're going for realism, then certainly not. He might be able to do it, but the chances of him being traded to play third are slim to none.

In my Braves franchise, I, like so many others, want an upgrade in LF. My initial thought was try to get Gordon from KC, but he's a cornerstone for that franchise and that wouldn't be realistic before the season, maybe a deadline deal. I also read on here about Gardner and Rasmus, all Gardner would do is give me speed, but Rasmus is an intersting option as well.
