Happ is not worth a B.... 3 C's at best

There are some B's in this game that i belive should be C's I'm no talking about a B that is in your Organizations top 10, I'm talking your low B guy in this game which might project to be a High C IRL

like Fernando Martinez of the Astros....if i had to give up a B, i rather go for Pelfrey or Volquez instead...just my opinion

Im the seattle mariners and currently (37-23) in 1st place by 2.5 games ahead of texas. But I just recently made some trades what you guys think.

M's get:
SS Tyler Pastornicky

Braves get:
SS Nick Franklin
CF Michael Saunders

Not knowing the records/stats at the time here's my view. From a Braves standpoint there really is no reason to get Nick Franklin. They have Simmons waiting in the wings and will likely be the starter within the next 2 seasons (depending if Pastornicky shows himself to be the better of the 2). Only real reason to get Franklin would be if he would take over at 3B which the Braves have multiple options (albeit Franklin will probably project higher than our prospect options). Terdo / Salcedo both waiting in the wings as well as the option of moving Prado back to the infield and grabbing an outfield bat.

Romero is a decent fit for the Braves since they could use some middle infield depth in the minors. However, there are still players that they have in the system already to fill the role should Uggla move on after his contract is up.

Saunders is really another piece that wasn't needed on the Braves end. They have a large handful of players that are transitioning to the outfield in the minors as well as someone like Mycal Jones or Matt Lipka ready to step in within the next 2.5 seasons.

Again that's just my viewpoint as a Braves player. Overall the trade isn't too bad depending on records n things. You get a major league ready young shortstop and the Braves get 2 decent prospects and a future starter.

don't really have an opinion on the first trade as ur swapping young SS for the same....the 2nd is unrealistic

Not too far out, but not too close, and I'm not feeling optimistic. Yankees and Orioles hold a strong lead on the division and Angels have the wild card in their grasp.
