Too fat to play 3rd? He's not even fat to begin with right now, some scouts have a concern he may end up getting overweight down the line. As for right now he's 18 years 6'3 a solid athletic 225lbs. As for his strike outs, they will most likely always be high. He's got a very good walk rate for a 18 year old kid, and he's the top power hitting prospect in the minor leagues right now. If he ends up hitting 30-40 hrs this season which he should at 18 years old in a pitcher's league the hype will be huge.

He's added 30lbs since he was 16 which I don't think is uncommon from the age of 16-18, this is what he looks like now. Through 33 games he's hitting .303 10 hrs 32 rbis 2 triples 2 stolen bases 20 walks .417 obp .655 slug 1.072 ops (including a slump)

Solid acquisitions on the defensive end but how do you plan on filling out your lost offensive numbers?

At 11-22 should I start bringing up some young guys in my Twins franchise. Offense is solid, defense is meh, and pitching is worst in the leagues.. Pavano is the only starter doing good. I brought up Kyle Gibson ( no pre set injurys in my chise ) and hes pitched 8.1 innings in relief only allowing 1 run, 3 hits, 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.. Also who are some good underrated pitchers I can get on the cheap.

Another prospect or player from Texas would e nice. Any ideas/criticism/bashing?
No one would probably give up any prospects for Youkilis since hes basically done and has been injured alot lately and will be a DH by next year. ANd Beckett could get you 2 B's

If you wanted to trade him you could get 3 A's the Yankees are the only team I can think of now that would be a fair deal I'll try to find you another one.

Edit: only other teams I could find that could put a package together are Orioles, Rangers, Cardinals, and Pirates

What prospects from those teams? Not really familiar with their farm systems. (Excluding Texas, wanna get him at least out of the division)

                  Orioles- Bundy, Machado, and Schoop
Royals Maybe- Starling, Myers, Cuthbert, Montgomery
Yankees- Banuelos, Sanchez, and Williams another name is Betances
Pirates- Cole, Taillon, Bell, Grossman, Marte ... not all of them but the top 2 and then another of the 3
                  Rangers- Olt, Perez, Profar
Cardinals- Miller, Martinez, Taveras, Jenkins, Cox,

I'm not saying some of these teams would make these deals, its just these are the only teams that have the prospect packages to make the deal.

I really was just hoping for a more national league approach with the likes of jackson, crisp, hudson and brignac. Plays like turning singles into doubles and doubles to triples things i cant do with cabby or prince or vmart. I have jackson and crisp batting 1-2 and jackson is batting over 300 and is always a threat to steal and crisp is near 300 and leads the league in steals. Im just hoping when those guys get hits that they can A. steal a base or B. stretch plays like doubles and triples so they are in scoring position for the big boppers. so far jackson and crisp are great and boesch and avila have really stepped up, brignac and hudson have been stellar defensively but struggled a lil bit with the bat (brignac leads us in doubles tho). The defense has really been a great plus along with the speed on the basepaths.

I am playing with the Marlins and over the past few years I have been finishing last so I let all my big free agents go to free agency and started rebuilding. Anyway this year Mike Stanton alone vaulted me into first place at the deadline despite the fact I had no pitching and no other offense. So at the deadline I made the following trades
3 A prospect outfielders to the Dodgers for Clayton Kershaw
1 A prospect outfielder and 2 B prospect pitchers to the Pirates for Pedro Alvarez
2 B prospect outfielders to Nationals for Micheal Morse who was batting only 210 with 10 homers at the time.

i have a bit of a dilemma in my franchise with the braves....pastornicky went down with a broken foot for ~2 months, so i am stuck with jack wilson as my starting SS (which i love the defense, but his bat is terrible)...now if andrelton simmons was playing well in the minors, i would have no problem calling him up to start at short, however he is struggling mightily in AA...now there are a couple options in FA (tejada or cabrera)...what potential trade targets could i be looking for? i really just need some depth to cover the position while pastornicky is out because he will get the job back when he comes back off the DL, so i really dont need to make a big splash. i'd love to hear some opinions.

He is big, but he's not by any means overweight nor hindered by his size at this point. The biggest concern is he may have trouble keeping his weight down over time. Most of the scouting guys that actually have went to see him this season have said they were really surprised with his athleticism.

Regardless of the concerns of size and finding a position in the majors. His ranking won't suffer due to the fact that his power is that elite. If he couldn't do anything but dh, he's still going to be top 5-6. Although a Twins fan I actually hold a pretty open outlook on prospects, and I've personally watched Sano twice.

All around depth meaning positional flexibility in a good all around player (both off/def) or just a mighty PH bat?
