    I'm thinking of taking it but of course adding to it. Since Sweeney is their starting RF and in the hunt and I'm out maybe throwing in Carlos Quentin and someone else. I'll play around with it and see what I could put together.

      Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

      So this is my final post discussing my franchise concerning trades. Its Jul 28th in my season and i am sitting at 63-36, so soon I will not be able to trade. Its time to make my final push for the post season. I have made a few trades, but no huge blockbuster deals. I just want to know what you would do if you were me? Would you be happy with this team and not make anymore trades.?My bottom 3 of the line up are all hitting under .250 but its not causing any major issues.
      Marcum,Wolf, Perlta all have an ERA above 3.00. The brewers have 3 SP with A pot in the minors, but they are not ready to be called up, so just trade bait at this point. The only area i want to get better is pitching. I am overall ranked 6th in pitching so its hard for any pitcher outside of an allstar to make huge difference. Overall I don't feel I have any huge issues on the team,just asking your advice.
      I asked about my team and who to trade for about two weeks ago, and most people said I had a great team and to leave it alone. I just want final advice one last time, since trade deadline is 3 days away.

        @ chetballard:.....most i'd do is search for a minor upgrade at either SS or C if u can find one without trading off any valuable assets

                Sweeney = .236, 2 HR, 12 RBI
                Quentin = .271, 15 HR, 40 RBI

                I just checked all their lineups and he is their starter

                  For me Sweeney is batting .298 in 200 at bat, but mostly singles. Usually batting in the 6-8 hole.

                    How about a guy like Jerry Hairston who can play pretty much any position for you. SS is what I had mind to begin with but doesn't hurt to have a guy that you can move around if someone gets injured. He's got some speed as well if you just wanna pinch-run. You have some speedy guys on your bench to begin with so I think Hairston would fit right in

                      sounds like the Cardinals can use an upgrade in RF then

                        actually i was thinkin of upgrading for a starter instead of a versatile bench guy

                          That's a good call. JJ Hardy moving back to the Brew Crew could be a nice addition

                            not bad if the poster doesnt care that Hardy re-upped with the O's IRL

                              True. Depends on his thoughts on realism.

                              Do we know what teams are out of it? Yunel Escobar? J-Roll?

                              Total sleeper but I think Stephen Drew would fit in perfectly with the crrew

                                offensively, mostly anybody with be an upgrade over Brignac at SS...if Drew is healthy and the Snakes are out of contention, i'd go with him over the others solely on the fact that he's a lefty and the Brewers are so righty-dominated in their lineup
