Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm controlling the Red Sox and Braves, and I want to acquire Mark Trumbo in Atlanta. With Morales and Pujols and Wells and Hunter playing well with Trout in the middle, they've certainly got depth. So it's not unthinkable that he'd get moved.
So here's the thing ... his numbers are down, and Jair Jurjjens is pitching lights out in the first 2 months of the season. But I still want a realistic trade. What would be a fair trade with these players involved? I don't want to give up Teheran, and I'd prefer to keep Delgado over Minor.

doesnt matter if he's rated an A++++++...he's an old reliever....he would be dealt for a halfway decent prospect, not in a package for J-UpSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Here's a trade I made in my twins franchise.
Alexi Casilla and Matt Rizzotti (C potential) for Jason Donald
Fair? Donald isn't going to take Kipnis's job anytime soon. Casilla offers solid fielding at 2B as well as 3B and SS if needed. Rizzotti is tearing it up in AAA with a .304 average, 15 homers and 55 RBI's And the Indians onły have 3 healthy 1B's in their organizationComment

Great now I'm gonna have to make trades for every team at the deadline. I'll probably just do every trade that happens IRL and put it in the gameComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Alright. I'll put this thread to work for the Rays by Rays are in last place, 14 games behind the division leading Sox. Had a lot of injuries and some really historically bad offense. But, I feel like I can go on a run as June is coming to a close.
James Shields--my least favorite pitcher in baseball only because he cost me a fantasy baseball title a few years ago. But, he's 4-8 with a 5.11 ERA. With every other pitcher doing well, I want to deal him.
Here are 3 trade scenarios:
Shields and Luke Scott to 2nd place Rangers for Profar, Ogando, and a role player like Gentry. Rangers lost Cruz for season.
Shields to San Diego for Carlos Quentin or Chase Headley (who would play LF) and a reliever.
Shields to the Angels for Bourjos, Segura, Conger or Garret Richards.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Also, San Diego probably isn't contending which eliminates them and the Angels/Rangers don't need another SP (unless there has been some injuries to their pitching staff.) But even if there was, I think they'd rather use their internal options as both teams have rather deep minor league systems with solid SP talent.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Well in my new Twins chise with Scott's roster Casilla is out 6+ months with a torn rotator cuff... I love Casilla in my last 100 games in franchise he was hitting .270 with 15 SB lead the team in walks had the least amount of strikeouts and played great D.
So with that said, I need some trade options for a guy thats just like that. I hate Caroll ( can't hit above the mendoza line with him. ) so he wont be playing and I have no other minor league options as Dozier is my SS.
The fill in doesn't have to be anything special just a good number 8/9 hitter ( .260's ) that plays really good D at 2nd and could steal 15-20 bags a season. He can be older as he will most likely be a 1 year rental. Also how much would a player like that cost?Comment
