Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys. Could use some help here.
I'm in a offline franchise with 3 friends. We are the NL East (except WSH) and I am controlling the Mets. We're about to hit July 2012 and I am 5.5 back of WSH.
Seeing as I'm a Cubs fan and don't really keep up with New York, any ideas on what the Mets would need to upgrade? Right now Ike Davis is carrying the load (leads in AVG, HR, and RBI!) but I could use some help to get to October.
I'm thinkin J. Upton?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Alright so I am now in year 2 of my franchise (again I'm a simmer). I have two questions.
1. With the Pirates being 22.5 and 21.0 games back in the division and wild card, would they be willing to trade McCutchen for the right price?
2. If so what would it take to get him?
I am currently not thinking about trading for him as I am not doing much better than the Pirates but it's more for future reference.
I do have a few solid starters and two high A prospects (SS and 1B).
ThanksComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In real life, you're probably right.
What could I get for Jair Jurjjens circa last year? He's pitching lights out again in my franchise, and I'd be willing to pair him with another A prospect and a B/C prospect to land somebody big.
Who could I get? Positions needed are 3rd base or corner outfield.Comment
