In my Mets franchise I'm thinkin about going for Shane Victorino.. I have Zach Wheller and another A poyential starting pitcher prospect.. Would those 2 A potential prospects be enough? My only untouchables are Wright, Santana, Davis, and possibly Bay... Thanks in advance..

2 A's is too much for Victorino...especially Wheeler...and if the other pitching prospect is Harvey, yeah ur gettin the worst of it

I dunno I feel like it must happen from time to time. Say in a hypothetical situation the Yankees had a low A potential player in their minors playing say CF. They want Wandy to be in their rotation so I trade them him and say a prospect SS who could be ready once jeter retires and maybe a 3B prospect as well. Contender's still want pieces that can work in the future I feel like.

Regardless I'll just go after the two B's. I'm thinking of maybe bolstering my bullpen a bit.

u gotta gimme an example of a contender acquiring a prospect mid-season cause i can't see it man....u can also throw in a mid/low-C if that makes u feel any better for Wandy in addition to the 2 B's

with Garza sporting a over-4 ERA, i'd probably lean towards 3 B's instead of an A

Yea you're probably right about that. What If I were to throw in Maholm and his sub 3 era and possibly another B or C?

If not then I have figured out a few other trades with teams competing.

Addison Russell SS (18 B)
Derek Norris C (23 B)
A.J. Griffin SP (24 B)/ Tom Milone SP (25 B)

Indians
Carlos Carrasco SP (24 B)
Michael Brantley CF (24 B)
Ronny Rodriguez SS (19 B) He can play all IF positions but Catcher

Angels
Dempster and Reed Johnson for Peter Bourjos CF (24 B)
Not sure how I feel about this and would be more than willing to throw in another vet like Maholm if needed.

If you guys don't think these will work I'm open to many different trades. I want to get something for Dempster because he will not be back next year. I would prefer to get at least one player who is either major league ready for will be in a season.

Maholm on a good day is worth 2 C's at best....regarding your trades, ZERO chance the A's trade a guy they JUST drafted in Russell, a young promising catching prospect they just picked up in the Gio trade(along with Milone)....if u can substitute Brantley (unless u really like him) for a B prospect , i like that trade better...regarding Demp, u probably can ask for another low-B in addition to Bourjos from the Angels (if Demp is pitching well...i forgot his stats lol)....the Rockies trade sounds reasonable as-is although it'd be perfectly ok to ask for another low-B from the Rockies
