Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What could i get for Kevin Millwood who is having a pretty good year, and Brandon League who is having a great year. Obviously i am the MAriners and need some help on offense, who could i get with those players or maybe add another player into the mix to get a good or decent bat that wont cost a ton?Comment

1-2 C's for Millwood depending on his statsFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

He's been average this year but was solid for the M's last year. I think you pay for the track record and videogame potential with a low B.
C prospect(s) would be for the average Joe we've seen on the mound this yearFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
But he's a reliever that any team could create out of their farm, I just don't understand the overpaying of relievers. Not talking about you specifically, just in general. Look what happens when you overpay for a guy like Heath Bell, why do you think the Rays always have great bullpens, they take cheap vets (Rodney or Farnseworth) and get the job done. Guys like Ryan Cook can cOme out of no where. Relievers are so up and down, that's why you never overpay on themComment

A part of me feels like League holds a low B in value. I should point out that I'm thinking low B for him if he's closing. If he's just a SU, then it's the C prospect you mentioned without doubtFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

To the person trying to trade for Upton as the Cubbies, or for anyone trying to trade for Upton, period....
The Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs and Indians are the teams on Upton's list, Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports report."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

I still don't know if he'll be moved IRL...unless the team he gets dealt to offers up a Mark Teixiera-esque prospect haul.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

The Rays could be sellers as well meaning BJ Upton could be moved. The Upton brothers could prove to be a tandem acquired in many franchises here on the boards. Would be a nice power/speed combo to employ in the OFFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
