Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
The closest ones I've found: Zambrano for Kazmir, Langston for RJ, Colon for a ridiculous amount of prospects trade, Slocumb for Lowe/Varitek. Not many of these pitchers were injury prone of pitching too horridly like Santana is..."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

And none of them had ERAs above 5...I saw all those trades when I did a little research of my own. The only injury prone pitcher I see in there is a prospect named Scott Kazmir, who did eventually break down and hasn't been the same since. But he wasn't the veteran being traded, he was the prospect.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

No Lie I was looking at Zambrano, Kazmir. I have it open in my tabs. I was going to post it and say it doesn't fully match the Santana in the game but there are some similarities but I decided against it because like I said u guys all have valid pointsComment

Thats what ill do probably. See how long I can drag his career out. Wish the Mets had some big shot Veteran who could be traded though. If only they weren't so cheap in real lifeComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I traded for him, and he's sitting in AAA after hitting .036 or something stupid like that.
You could trade David Wright...."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I Traded Jason Bay before Game 1 of spring training lol. And I thought about Trading Wright but I have no one to play 3rd base and he's one of my main producers. We suck now and if I get rid of Wright we may be approaching Astros territory lol especially with the worst team ERA in baseball. But we will see. Its all about building for the future and Wright is 29 so maybe. Him being my favorite player doesn't help ethier.Comment

I wouldn't touch Bay with a 3,628.3 KM pole.
Yes, that's the distance from Toronto to Vegas."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

i wouldnt touch Bay if u gave me free tacos for a year.....like u said his ratings stink, he's beyond injury-prone, and his contract is disgusting.....ur right it wouldnt be horrible for rebuilding but after they let Reyes go, i dont think they can afford to do the same with WrightSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment
