Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Not because of that, He doesn't take the best trades that involve top 100 prospects or just prospects in general for players that are doing crap. That reminds me of President of the Boston Red Sox President Larry Lucchino.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

He doesn't take top 100 prospects, because the only offers he get that involve T100P are for Felix, which should all be shot down."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Clearly the M's need to rebuild. So instead of just keeping the king, just trade him for 4-5 friggen T100 players. in the future they will have a better team and the Red Sox will have a beast ace. Instead Zduriencik uses his "scouting abilities " and drafts, don't get me wrong that's a good way to get players. But personally if I were a GM of a team that is so low in Playoff potential now, I would be looking to trade for the future.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Yes they do have alot of good players now but they're not doing alot. Maybe next year they will be in contention. On that top part in which you say the top 10 players, top 15 players needed, etc.; Maybe the Blue Jays and their bomb squad minor league team could afford it. lol.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm heading into the off season with Atlanta after year 1 and I'm considering letting Bourn go and making a trade with Colorado for Fowler. With Chipper's retirement, I'm moving Prado to 3rd so I'm also in the market for a LF with a little pop. First of all, what should I offer for Fowler, and secondly who would you suggest going after for LF that would be reasonable? I also wouldn't mind dumping Hanson and some prospects for a veteran starter and/or a good utility guy. Any thoughts there as well? Thanks.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
How's Fowler doing? Without looking at his stats I would say 2 mid B's
And for the LF, Carlos Beltran is a FA after the 1st year I think. He wouldn't require a long term dealLast edited by nowitsourtime; 10-19-2012, 10:27 AM.Comment

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the last time I checked he was hitting about .310 with 10 homeruns, and that was with 2 weeks left in the season.Comment
