Robertson is tricky. Is he under contract for next year (2014 in your chise) as well or would you have to go through arbitration?

Two low B's sounds fair imo if he's putting up really nice SU numbers. If he's been injured most of the year and the Yankees have different options meaning Robertson is used as a regular MRP. I'd say either a mid B or a low B and a high C

He's been injured the entire year, and generally giving up B's for relievers is ridiculous, as they're pretty expendable.

Let's draw up a comparison here.... NFG told me that Andrew Bailey is a couple of high C's. Seeing as how Bailey is significantly better than him, and Bailey's a closer, I'm thinking high C and mid C.

Robertson can be expanded to a closer if Rivera retires and Soriano doesn't exercise his option IRL.
          I'd only give 'em 2 C's

He *can* be... but Andrew Bailey IS a closer, and if you'll check my edit, you'l l see that in this exact same situation (out for most of the year, relief pitcher), Bailey was worth two high C's.

And yes, I saw your edit.

since he's still young and dirt-cheap, i dont think the Yankees would give him up..especially for 2 C's

Yes I know. Since you already have Bailey as your closer; get Robertson for 1 C because he's never going to be a closer for you. (just thought of that) or a high D and mid/low C

Then what are you recommending? Cause it's remarkably similar to the Bailey situation.

Remember when Bugle went ballistic on me for wanting a B on a reliever? Sigh, those were the days...

Bailey has had more of an injury history then Robertson...i wouldnt give up a B either...jus sayin, the Yanks realistically would shut him down for the year and give him the start of next year to find his groove again

But in the game, he hardly ever gets hurt. But IMO the only relief pitchers worth a B is Venters, Jansen(unless he's considered a CP), Chapman (same as Jansen), and *MAYBE* David Hernandez

Chamberlain is worth more then that if he's healthy and pitching halfway decently...depends on what his stats are...with a blind resume, i'll go 2 mid-C's

Kimbrel is worth much, much, much, much, much, MUCH more than anything to do with a B. I know relievers are generally expendable and such, but that kid is special.
