That won't work for us here. I notice you left Lincecum and Posey off your untouchable list. Could I please have stats on the following players?

    Marisnick
    Gose
    Escobar
    D'Arnaud
    Arencibia
    Smith Jr.
    Escobar
    Hechavarria
    Anderson
    Lincecum

I know it's a long list, but thank you. I wouldn't have a problem giving up to A's and a B for either of them. Willing to overpay to fill a need. Thanks!

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

      Hey everyone,

We are ten games in now and haven't gotten off to the start we had hoped. We are almost ready to begin our rebuilding process. The first process for us is to trade our older, yet productive MLB starters that can contribute to other teams. Any of our players are available if the right offer is made.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

      The Chicago Cubs
I'm sorry to hear that. What would the price be on Matt Garza if I took on Alfonso Soriano's albatross contract?

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

        June 13, 2012

        Good morning,

We would like to approach you regarding a possible trade that may be to both team's benefit. Seeing as how you have a record of 36-27, 3.5 GB in the AL Central (to the Twins) and in 1st for the Wild Card (.5 over Rays), we thought you may desire some accomplished veteran help for the stretch run.

Although it won't be a popular move in Seattle, we are willing to trade away Ichiro Suzuki (.279/.328/.414, 20 SB). We are also willing to part with Kevin Millwood (5-1, 3.19 ERA) and closer Brandon League (19 saves, 2.75 ERA).

We think this would help you as you've struggled to get production out of your outfield (Young - .240/.274/.356, Jackson - .264/.340/.376, Boesch - .265/.363/.400). League could replace Benoit in your bullpen (6.04 ERA in 25 IP) or take over for Valverde since it looks like you're trying to trade him away. Fister and Porcello both have ERA's over 4 in your rotation and Smyly has been a little inconsistent. Not to mention that recently acquired Aroldis Chapman is on the DL with a Shoulder Tear.

In return we are interested in LF Andy Dirks (.294/.314/.397 in AAA), 2B Ryan Raburn (.257/.308/.408) and a starter like Drew Smyly, Andy Oliver, or Casey Crosby.

We are of course willing to negotiate. Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter, please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information.

        Best,
        Seattle GM

          Good morning,

We would like to approach you regarding a trade involving 1B Brandon Belt. While Brandon got off to a very nice start this season, his numbers have come back to earth a bit as pitchers around the league have started to figure him out (.271/.372/.503, 35 K's, only .232 vs. LH). Also, you have Brett Pill ready to start at 1B and Angel Villalona waiting in the wings (.252/.315/.450 in AAA).

Seeing that you are currently 28-35 and 7 GB in the NL West, we thought you may want to take the opportunity to obtain several good, young players who could help you in the future. We know you have needs at RP, LF, and 2B. We are currently in talks with the Tigers regarding LF Andy Dirks and 2B Ryan Raburn, both of whom could help your club for the next several years. We also may have one or two starting pitching prospects that would be available depending on what we get from Detroit (as well as our own Charlie Furbush (25 years old, C Potential)).

We are of course willing to negotiate. Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter, please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information.

          Best,
          Seattle GM

The price would be pretty high as Matt is pitching like an ace right now and sori is playing at a very high level. Probably 3-4 pitching prospects.

We are e-mailing your organization to ask if you would be willing to give up your 25 year old SP Ivan Nova. He is currently 6-2 with a 3.03 ERA in the MLB. We would be willing to give up our 23 year old CF Starling Marte - .262 5 HR 20 RBI (A Pot). This offer is just a starting point and you can feel free to counter offer or decline at this point.

                Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your interest in Ivan Nova. He is one of our most-valued young pitchers and potentially a rotation mainstay for years. Your offer of Starling Marte is quite intriguing, but we'd like to request a little more info before starting negotiations in earnest.

Could you tell us our record and who else is starting for us? Do we have Andy Pettitte? Is Pineda healthy? How are Hughes and Kuroda doing?

                Thank you,

How about Deck McGuire, Chad Jenkins, and Justin Nicolino? I might throw in Aaron Sanchez too, if you want him. Fun fact: everyone that I just named was a first rounder. Take that how you want to.....

                    RE: Ivan Nova

My apologies, I should have initially sent more info. Currently your team is 48-23 sitting 3.5 games ahead of Boston in the division. Pineda has been rock solid all year, 8-3 2.82 ERA 104 K's 34 BB's in 89.1 IP. ( We are also interested in him, but realistically we felt he's on your organization's "untouchable" list right now.) Pettitte is currently working in AA, I'm assuming on a some sort of rehab assignment, 2-1 0.93 ERA 17 K's 4 BB's 29.0 IP. Your team is currently tied for 1st in CG (11), 2nd in ERA (3.09), 1st in shutouts (14), 1st in hits allowed (560), 1st in runs allowed (227), 1st in earned runs (216), 12th in K's (540), and 6th in BB's allowed
(209). It is currently the last week of June as we send you this and the rankings stated in the previous sentence are in the entire MLB. Your rotation is as followed:

                    C.C. - 8-5 3.41 ERA 104 K's 25 BB's 105.2 IP. (on fire)
                    Kuroda - 9-1 1.97 ERA 66 K's 28 BB's 100.2 IP (on fire)
OOC for a moment: Kuroda's numbers are quite startling at this point in the season if you ask me!
                    Pineda - stats previously stated
                    Hughes - 8-3 4.41 ERA 67 K's 37 BB's 85.2 IP (on fire)
Nova - Now 7-2 with 2.84 ERA 65 K's 32 BB's in 95.0 IP after last start made yesterday (in game)

It appears as if you guys also have Freddy Garcia working out of the bullpen in the majors right now his stats are : 1-0 3.42 ERA 18 K's 7 BB's 23.2 IP. Joba is in AAA right now working as a starter. His stats are pretty horrific: 0-9 6.06 ERA 63 K's 23 BB's 68.1 IP.

We hope this is enough info for you, and we apologize for not sending it earlier.

Well, as far as keeping track -- it's just me. But, I chose to do it and its fun... just hard to scan all those messages and make sure everyone is accounted for.

Thank you very much for the wealth of information, we really appreciate it. I think we would be willing to move forward with negotiations for trading Nova. What are your thoughts on including other players such as Pedro Alvarez, Kyle McPherson, or Jeff Locke?

Out of the 3, Alvarez would be who we would ost want to get rid of. His stats are: .205 3 HR 10 RBI. He currently platoons at 3rd with McGehee so he doesn't get every day playing time. If we were to give up Alvarez, we may want another piece back depending on if you would be willing to give someone else up.
