    RE: Domonic Brown

We apologize for the late response, we have been thinking for a while what positions we may want to fill. We do want to try and begin a rebuild in our OF, and we just don't see Brown in that future. 3B could become an issue long term, and pitching never hurts, particularly relief pitching.

      URGENT

      TO: Boston Red Sox Representatives!
      FROM: Oakland A's Player!

      RE:Kevin Youkilis

      BODY:

Greetings, as you know already we at the Oakland front office have had a man crush on Kevin Youkilis since he was in the minors, and seeing as you have an up and coming 3B in Will Middlebrooks we would like to inquire about Kevin. Kevin is having a fantastic season hitting .287 with 10 HR & 25 RBI's in 50 games played. I would like to know what position you guys are looking for to improve. And what it would take to get a deal done.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?
Haha of course you think that! Honestly, I haven't really seen what he can become because I don't really look at him after I have done some sims. Regarding Brown, we may want a couple of B's or an A (you can never go wrong with an A !) We may want some relief pitchers a starter. 2B could also be of interest although we're high on Galvis.

OOC: I really hope this trade works out for you. I love the Cubs, and play in Wrigley every chance I get. It's a shame that the scheduling glitch doesn't let me play the Cubs, ever....

We as an organization have really lost faith in Domonic's abilities to improve at the plate, and are now willing to begin any negotiations another team is willing to initiate. Despite the fact we aren't nearly as high on him as we used to be, we still believe we can get a good return for him. If anyone has any offers for us, please do not hesitate to ask.

              Re: Brown

Were very high on Brown and could give you a nice package for him. Were deep in B potential outfield depth. We have a future closer B potential guy Carlos Gutierrez ( Mid 90s sinker with a nasty slider) he's 22 or 23 I believe. We also have a high C potential 19 year old 3B. We also have Denard span who is 28 with a friendly contract. He is a .280-300 hitter who walks more then he strikes out with amazing speed and defensive abilities. We'll give you an offer that's deffiently negotiable.

Twins trade: Span (B OFer), Benson (B pot OFer), Gutierrez (B pot CP), Harison (High C 19 Y/O 3B)

              Phillis trade: Brown

              Thanks,

McGuire is a low 20's B potential starter..... So no. Dean is a high C. He just hit .290 with 27 dingers for me in AA. How he didn't get moved up to a B, I don't know.

We really like Gutierrez, but with Aumont on our team we are not sure how well Gutierrez would transition to a setup or middle reliever role. We don't know too much about Benson, and Span could be a great addition We really like him but we aren't sure where we could put him right away. With Victorino, Pence, and Mayberry/Pierre, Span might not get the playing time he deserves. Victorino could easily be gone by the deadline though. With that being said, we do really like Span though.

We currently use Gutierrez in a setup role right now and he thrives. Benson is a right fielder that is probably the most athletic prospect in the twins system. He had some ABs with the big boys last year. Would you want Span in the deal or no? If not any other suggestions.

It would be possible, but you would have to let us know where we stand in the division and what month it is. If we are out of the race we probably would have traded Victorino by then, and Span could be our everday starter in CF.

Power hitting 3rd baseman blocked by Brett Lawrie. He's serviceable. He won't ever hit over .275 in the bigs, but he'll give you 20 dingers.
