Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
What if we took Shafer and Thompson out of the deal for now. We could add(I hate to say this, but) Wieters. You dont have a great catcher in Castro, and the Crawford boxes in left would be Wieters best friend. We could still include Markakis and Reynolds, and maybe ou could add another prospect or 2(ESP ones you don't want like Shafer) I have a feeling that you guys won't go for this either, and if you don't, we might shut down trade talks for this moment(as long as you aren't too close to trade deadline) as we have to have time to think.

Im sorry, but we just cant move Singleton. We are currently sitting at July 20th, so the deadline is coming up but i plan on trying to play every game till the trade dead line as i try to work out some deals. So you have time if theres any other deals. As of now we consider this trade talk closed, but feel free to contact us if ya'll come up with any other possible deals.Comment

Subject: Casey McGehee
We are highly interested in Casey McGehee coming over to Houston. We have lost Altuve and Paredes to the 60-Day DL, so we are limited on options here, and we are currently leading the Division by 4 games and in the hunt for the long haul. We feel like McGehee can give us that extra push we need to finish this out strong.
You are currently well out of it ant 21 games back in the division and 17 back in the wild card. We are currently in Mid July as i send this E-Mail.
Schafer is also on the block and if your interested we can include him in some kind of package deal, or if your interested in any of our other players dont hesitate to throw us an offer. We would like to know if theres anybody in our orginazation that interest you before we throw a proposal out there. Or if you want you can start off with a proposal if you like.
Hope to hear from you soon,

Since we're well out of contention, we're certainly open to trading McGehee. However, we're not interested in Jordan Schaefer, as we have a very similar player in Alex Presley. In addition, we have several promising outfielders in our system.
I'm not able to access our scouting database at this time, but we want to acquire as many young power arms as possible. I can't think of his name, but there was a young lefty reliever with good stuff we scouted last year.
UPDATE: I believe the pitcher I'm thinking of is Wesley Wright, although Fernando Abad also fits the bill. Can you give me a rundown of each? Pitches, stats, potential, and perhaps most importantly, their current service time as calculated in your franchise.
Also, how are McGehee and Pedro Alvarez doing? If Pedro is struggling, I would be more reluctant to deal McGehee. Casey has some team control left, so he's a nice insurance policy if Pedro can't turn it around.Last edited by Qb; 06-20-2012, 10:49 AM.Comment

RE: Madison Bumgarner
We were inquiring about Mr.Bumgarner. We love his stuff, and think that he would be a great fit here. I haven't started my franchise yet, waiting for Scott's draft rosters, so I'm going off of real life stats. I realize he is probably untouchable irl, but wondering what it would take to get him from you guys in game. We could send Britton, Matusz, and Tillman, who are 3 A pot pitchers for him. Tell us if this would work, as we want to try and do a deal for him without giving up Machado and/or Schoop. Thanks for your time!

Re: Trade
We are interested in Matt Garza and Alfonso Soriano among others. The trades we have done so far are listed below:
Traded Jonathan Shoop and a low B for Madison Bumgarner and 2B Ryan Jones
Traded Brian Matusz and Chris Tillman for JP Arencibia and Kyle Drabek
Traded Jake Arrieta and Zach Britton for Dominic Brown and Pettibone
I have not started my franchise yet, as I am waiting for Scott's draft rosters. I have already made these trades though(kinda like an offseason trade irl), so make up a preliminary offer for us, so we know what you are interested in. If you could could you put Garza and Soriano in separate deals, as it is easier with the trade negotiation acreen(as you can only put in 3players at a time) thanks for your time, and hope to hear from you soon!

I know, but before you told me it was only going to cost Schoop and a low B. Then you said both Bundys and Schoop. I didn't really know which, so I went n the middle.Comment
