I would believe this to be a fair deal... I am currently away from desk (ooc: PS3) - but as long as the salary hit wouldn't be too ridiculous I've actually been shopping Paulino myself.

My only other considerations would be the performances/levels of Adam Wilk, Jacob Turner, Oliver... with the way Smyly has performed early though, with the chance to add a solid arm like Wandy there, I think we'd have to consider this.

EDIT: Weren't you repping the Yankees? Don't mind me, my mind is kind of spaced from this weekend.

We are very glad that at this time you are willing to accept this trade. As an organization we just made this initial offer so that we could have a starting point for the potential trade. As I'm sure you already kno, we have acquired colby rasmus at the beginning of the season, so we believe bringing upton to Atlanta would be huge for us in our current playoff push. He could also help us for years to come being that colby can move to left then we could move prado to 3rd.

We have high interest in Upton and understand that the price has to be right to get Upton over here. We are willing to listen to any and all offers.

You don't HAVE to be actively franchising with the Phillies. We just want reps who HAVE franchised with their squads, so that they have the best possible knowledge of The Show attributes of their minor league systems, prospects, situations, etc. You do NOT have to put ANYTHING on hold for this thread.

Remember guys, its just fun, and fun that can help others. No one is saying you HAVE to do these trades, or anything of the sort. The thread is just to ENHANCE and ENCOURAGE simulation-style trading and experiences!

We also like your counter offer but we, as an organization don't feel like the proposal is exactly where we want it. We like Upton and Rymes but with us willing to give up so much potential in Bourn, Minor, and Vizcaino. We feel like where not getting much in return being that were giving so much in return. There is a lot of potential in our offer.

Burke Bradenhop holds a 3-1 record in 30 Games and has 32 SO in 44.0IP
