I'm sorry, I don't quite follow. You're going to bed? Anyway, we can continue any negotiations you want some other time if you wish.Comment

From: THE Philadelphia Phillies
RE: Domonic Brown
We apologize for the late response, we have been thinking for a while what positions we may want to fill. We do want to try and begin a rebuild in our OF, and we just don't see Brown in that future. 3B could become an issue long term, and pitching never hurts, particularly relief pitching.
Respectfully,
THE Philadelphia Phillies

RE: Dominc Brown
We could offer Chase Headley to fill your 3B spot! He is 27, with lots of MLB experience, and he was validictorian of his class, so he is also smart! Get back to us soon!
Best Regards,

I think we would want a bit more than just Headley. Even though we don't regard Brown as highly as we used to, we still think we can get a good amount back for him.

RE: Domonic Brown
Some players we are interested in include Yasmani Grandal, Kevin Quackenbush, Andrew Cashner, and Jedd Gyorko
Edit: We also have interest in Austin Hedges but I assumed you didn't want to give him up. Luke Gregerson is also intriguing.Last edited by bwoodring9; 06-15-2012, 11:57 PM.Comment

RE: BROWN
Grandal, Cashner, and Hedges are all untouchable. Since we traded for them this past offseason, we have no desire to trade them away. We have already traded away Jedd Gyroko, but we could include Quackenbush or Miles Mikolas.
Since you know this, come back at me with an offer!

Don't the Padres have other B potential 3rd baseman? Are you willing to any of them up (off the top of my head I can only think of Darnell)? Maybe one of your B potential SP? Would you be willing to give up 3 B's or just 2?Comment

RE: BROWN
We could definitly include Darnell, but we only want to include 2 B's, as we gave up a lot for Madison Bumgarner. If we included Headley and a B prospect, then we would need someone additional to Brown. Check out page 6-8 in the link in my signature, as you can see which prospects we have given up.

From: Cubs
We are still looking to ship out Dempster soon here. Possible landing spots could be Philly because of the loss of Halladay, Baltimore because they're in the run even with a bad ERA, Cleveland because of the same reason as Baltimore, LA Dodgers because of injuries and record, and San Diego.
To Chicago Cubs
I think our organization may have an interest in possibly picking up an arm like Dempster. If we we're what might you be looking to receive in return? In order to see about the possibility can you forward our record and where we currently sit, as well as Dempster numbers please.Originally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. To: Alex Anthopoulos (Blue Jays GM)
From: Jerry Dipoto (Angels GM)
Subject : Re : Trade Offer
After careful consideration we are going to hold of on the Haren trade. We would really like to get a Show ready catcher and we feel Perez isn't ready at this time.
If you want to come up with something for Travis d'Arnaud or J.P. Arencibia maybe we can work something out. Let us know when you get time.

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
To: Chicago Cubs (specifically Derelictojama)
From: Toronto Blue Jays
Subject: Finalizing Garza
So, I assume we can fax Selig the paperwork of our deal?
To sum up,
Anderson
Smith Jr.
Nicolino
FOR
Matt Garza
Almazega (forget his name- Doesn't matter, he'll be released pretty promptly)
Alfonso Soriano
Thank you for all your time contributed to these negotiations.
OOC: I really hope this trade works out for you. I love the Cubs, and play in Wrigley every chance I get. It's a shame that the scheduling glitch doesn't let me play the Cubs, ever....
From: Chicago Cubs
Send it on to Bud, we think this will work for all...Alfonso's contract was too much for us to handle going forward, but he can still be very useful... particularly in your league. We will miss Matt, but as it may be a year (or two or three) before we are truly ready to compete, his talent (and his salary) may be wasted in our organization. As for ALFREDO Amezega, well, he can play all the infield positions... at AAA. Nicolino, Anderson, and Dwight Smith, Jr., son of one of our old fan favorites, may all be key pieces to our future. Best of luck to you!

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
To all MLB GMs
From the Boston Red Sox
RE: Kevin Youkilis on the Block
I would like to inform all MLB GMs, that The RedSox have put Kevin Youkilis on the Trading Block.
We are at the AllStar break, and Youk is playing well so far, hitting .281, with 10 HRs and 38 RBIs.
We are looking for position players, (left handed OF is a priority) and Relief Pitchers.
We are certainly NOT looking for Starting pitching. (I have addressed this problem earlier)
Waiting for offers! Have a nice day!Comment
