Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Light's out was an exaggeration. He's had a few bad starts, but he's been good. Inconsistency is common in a young kid. He's got tremendous upside."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Pleasure negotiating. That's the quickest deal I've made!
Could you give me a quick scouting report on Hedges? Especially an ETA, as I'm gonna need a stop gap if I trade Arencibia.
MSUboy11, the Matsuz/Tillman deal isn't done yet. I'm still considering a few things."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Sorry but he hasn't been good, I've watched prolly 3/4 of his starts and he has no command and his fastball just doesn't have a ton of movement which causes it to get hard. I just gave you the numbers to prove he's been quite awful. Just cause you got good stuff doesn't make you a good pitcherComment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Austin Hedges, C: He was a very late, difficult cut from the top 100, and is already one of the best defensive catchers in the minor leagues, with receiving and throwing skills (arm strength, release, and accuracy) that would play in the majors right now even though he's just out of high school. Last fall, he shortened his stride and showed more power and ability to square up the ball than he did as an amateur, and is a strong candidate to jump to the middle of next year's list.Comment

Hmmm.. I have an interesting proposal. In your franchise, you tget Arencibia and Drabek for Matsuz and Tillman. Then, if you're 30-teaming it, call up D'Arnaud for the Jays. This will shore up their rotation, while clearing room for their #1 prospect.
On my franchise, since the O's won't have traded Schoop yet, I do Arencibia and Drabek for Schoop, Matsuz, and Paulino. Works for both of us. If you agree to the second trade too, obviously.
Does anyone really care where I sent this from?"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

This is straight from a ESPN MLB scout -
