    Subject: McGehee

We appreciate your response on trying to aquire McGehee.

We would like to leave Wesley Wright out of the deal if at all possible. But here are the stats and every thing that you ask:

    Wesley Wright 5-1 Record, 41IP, in 40 Games, 2.41ERA 34SO, 1.32WHIP C OVR C POT 3.040 service time

    Fernando Abad AA 0-0 2SV, 32IP,30 Games, 2.53ERA 17SO 1.13WHIP D OVR C POT 0.147 service time

    Casey McGehee .264/.343/.549 21HR 56RBI 27BB 69SO 5.073 service time

Pedro Alvarez i cannot find in the roster, i have the same problem on trying to find Chone Figgens, i just cant find him on any roster and it doesnt show hes been traded in the transactions. so im not sure. im also using knights osfm opening day rosters

So Pedro has disappeared and McGehee is the starting 3B? Very odd... and it makes me reluctant to deal him away without a more significant return. Plus, Casey has been driving the ball, putting up nearly a .900 OPS on the year. That'll cost you.

I see Wright is a key part of your current bullpen, so I understand your reluctance to trade him during a pennant race. Abad might be a lesser piece if we can agree on a more prominent prospect (assuming you want to keep your MLB team intact). I'll do my best to access our scouting database tonight, but if you have any names for me, I'm all ears.

        TO: Orioles
        FROM: Cubs

        Subject: Garza and Soriano

We have a few initial offers

        Orioles get:
SP Garza (2-4 2.91 ERA in 9 games)
OF Soriano (.245 8 HR 25 RBIs in 36 games)

        Cubs get:
SP Parker Bridwell (1-3 5.00 ERA in 5 games at AA) B potential
1B Nicky Delmonico (currently in single A) B potential
Glynn Davis (.306 0 HR 9 RBI in 11 games in AA) B potential.
and a PTBNL (we like Pedro Strop [0-2 3.06 ERA in 17.2 innings 18 games in AAA] or Wynn Pelzer [1-1 2.70 ERA 26.2 innings and 14 games in AA] here)

We see it as Bridwell, Delmonico, and PTBNL for Garza and Glynn Davis for Soriano

We also like Xavier Avery, L.J. Hoes, Bobby Bundy, and Zach Phillips. If you feel we are asking too much or don't like it for whatever reason please counter with your own offer. We'd even be willing to give up more for other players within your organization. We seeming wouldn't mind giving up Garza, Soriano, and possibly a prospect for Dylan Bundy and Delmonico straight up.

I'm not sure, like I said I'm having the same issue on finding chone figgens. Imma dig through it a lot more later on and see if I can find him somewhere. I'm not sure what the deal is here

            Re: Garza

We liked the first deal that you sent us, but for the bottom one, involving Bundy, could we substitute a pitcher like a Matusz, Britton, Tillman, or Arrieta there in Bundys spot? We feel like that would be a good deal, but we want you to know that Soriano is just a contract that we are taking on. Since you are rebuilding, we are wanting to help you by taking his big contract off of your hands. We do not value him too much, even thought he would probably like to play under his old manager Showalter again. Tell us if the Garza, Soriano, and another prospect for A pitcher listed above and Delmonico deal would work! Hope to hear from you soon!

            Best regards,
            Kirk Plum, Orioles GM

When he put them on the trade block, I answered because I want them in my franchise. I told him that also.

I actually understand it great, but he asked if anyone was interested, so I responded.

No, you're still missing the point. He meant that you're not an Orioles representative, so you shouldn't be responding to someone else's offer. And if that was condescension in the 'I understand it great part,' please don't do that.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

No I didnt mean to be condescending. Sorry if it seemed like it. I just responded that I would be interested in my franchise. I never said I was an orioles rep. I was interested in the trade for mine, but if that's not ok, then I will continue the trade talks away from this thread. Sorry if I did something I wasn't supposed to. I at least wanted to get the guy a response, ESP since I don't think I've seen him in this thread before. I wanted for him to make sure that his response was read by someone, and since I have a pretty good understanding of the orioles roster, I thought I could help him out until Troopershorty51 saw it. Again sorry if I had any wrongdoing, as I didn't mean it, just trying to help out the poster.

Just want to inform you that I was able to find Pedro Alvarez, for some reason he doesn't show up in the manage roster page, but he's there in the trade room. His stats are as followed.

.214/.303/.536 2HR 7RBI..... This is in 10 games at the AAA level.

Also I feel really dumb as earlier I never gave your McGehee's real stats. For some odd reason, I was looking at Mark Reynolds stats. With that said, I will post a photo shot of McGehee. (not accusing anybody of it) but I just feel like doing this nobody would accuse me of whatever, because I did mess up stats.
