Hello,

We are looking to acquire Chris Archer from your triple A affiliate, The Durham Bulls. Chris has caught most teams' attention because of his superb start to the season. With 3 starts under his belt he is 2-0/1.00ERA/1.15WHIP/26SO/27IP and he has B potential.

We notice that the 2 main positions that you lack with prospects are Catcher and Second base as nobody in those positions has more than C Potential. With this in mind, we have a trade that we would like you to consider

So i noticed that the GM for the Rays is MSUBoy who is not here anymore. Is there a Rays Rep that i can discuss with?

we are currently attempting to fill the void for Rays GM....i can't find the specific post but i believe pokerplaya did name members of his council (which i am) as interim co-GM's who are able respond to proposals directed towards the Rays

We are open to making a deal, but those players you have offered are unacceptable. They are heavily under performing. Here is our counter offer:

as a fellow council member, i believe we should find middle-ground on giving up Archer as i feel your counter-offer is nowhere near enough to force our hand....Personally i wouldn't trade Archer after just 3 starts...we can always revisit this conversation down the road...that's just MY opinion

Usually more of a lurker, and also new in general to this site, but I am definitely interested in filling in for the Rays GM. Have been using the Rays since MLB 12 launched, so definitely accustomed to their roster, and also all prospects and players in general around the league- following prospects very carefully.

Thanks for inquiring about Chris Archer, unfortunately we are not looking to trade him at this time as he is/nearing MLB ready. We have a couple starters, and bullpen arms who are nearing free agency, and unfortunately our budget might not allow us to re-sign some key pitchers. Thus, meaning Archer is one of the first to be inserted into the rotation, or bullpen until a spot is open. However, keep checking with us as we have other top pitching prospects performing very well- which could make Archer expendable if we acquire a key piece.

Noted- and thanks for pointing it out. I've followed this thread closely as far as trades, but will read the template a bit closer tonight- since it was sort of a spur-of-the-moment type deal, haha.
