    Yes!

    I'd also like to see the elimination of outfielders going from a slow jog into warp-speed to catch a fly ball.

    Outfielder depth also needs to be looked at. I've mentioned it before but the outfielders play too shallow, especially against power hitters.

      Good point. It's like your runners just start running in quick sand, and it takes about 2 and a half innings to switch directions on the base paths I don't even attempt it anymore.

        Yeah I would love to see this as well. I know in '12 they worked on recognizing the difference in speed and defensive abilities in avg. defensive OF's and higher rated defensive OF's. While the difference is noticeable between these types of players, you pretty much can tell as soon as you hit the ball to the outfield as to whether the fielder is gonna catch it or not. It would be cool to see a progression in speed when the OF's turn on the jets a bit more to chase down a ball hit to the gap or over their head.

          - I'd like to see balls actually hit the wall on a XBH rather than it jumping over the wall. Happens to me in Yankee Stadium all the time and it bothers me to no end...

            Pretty sure I read somewhere on here that it will definitely be toned down in this years game. That aggravates me too....except when the computer gets that XBH and they have a guy on first Stop at third, sir! lol

                  Is there a way some of the defensive positioning can be toned down a bit early in the game? It seems both my outfield and the computer outfield would play for no doubles from the first inning with any batter that had even a little power. It seems like when I played the Brewers or Reds the outfield played deep against all but 2 of the hitters for the whole game. I think this contributes to the low number of doubles hit too.

                    Any way we can add to the fast forward option, allowing us to fast forward one at-bat, or even to a specific player's at-bat?

                      Some of my bigger concerns were mentioned above -- CPU bullpen/bench usage, zone hitting/PCI timing window, fielding quirks and positioning (more shifts?) -- so I'd love to hear feedback on those aspects. I'd also like to hear about the changes to pulse pitching and the throw meter.

                        PLEASE have them eliminate the errant pick off throws that go into the stands. It happens way too much and yet I can't recall it ever happening in real life. I do want errant pick off throws just not into the stands. Have the throw get away from the first baseman, maybe at times far enough away where the base runner can advance to second.

                          1. Give players better speed out of the box. I dont know how many times I get gunned down by two or three steps on choppers with the speedsters! More realism to this!

                          2. Get rid of the "suck in" baserunning animations. Time and time again I think I have a bag swiped and the animation slows the runner down only to be tagged out. This also pertains to lead-offs. I get picked off all the time.

                          3. Please give us a way to see how many pitches a pitcher has thrown when attempting to pinch hit for him in the later innings. There is nowhere to find this info.

                          I dont know how many times I will be checking an opposing pitchers pitch count and its up in the 120+ pitch range. This needs to be fixed for realism.

                          4. Lineup management - Please allow lineups to stick regardless of players ratings or handedness!!!

                          5. Gameplay - Fielding!

                          The second baseman runs to his left or right on a fieldable ball to only stop it and overrun the ball.

                          6. The lack of urgency on certain fielding plays that require IF'ers to act quickly. I dont know how many times a chopper gets fielded by the pitcher out in front of the catcher and he takes a couple steps to make the throw and the throw doesnt have any pepper on it.

                          7. More realistic OF throws. Too many bounced throws to cutoff men and unrealistic distances.

                          8. Get rid of the frequency of off-line throws to the plate.

                          9. Revamp the aggressiveness on OF throws similar to real baseball.

                          10. Get rid of the "suck in" animations while fielding. Balls that a fielder attempts to catch while being "sucked in' bounce over their heads far too often.

                          11. Balls hit down the line die before they get to the wall. The ball physics need a little more refining.

                          12. Alter the pitch movements. make curveballs snap, make cutters cut more, make change-ups fall off the table, etc.

                          13. Limit line dirves off of pitchers bodies. I probably hit the pitcher once a game. I would also create something somewhat realistic in respects to this. A liner off the melon shouldnt allow the pitcher cat like reflexes and throw out the runner! A nice painstaking animation would be nice
