Based on Slab's response (page 14, post 131) the logo behind home is there, the Dugouts are now Red, the toothbrush lights are now white, and the Standings Boards are in RF.

Thanks again SLAB!! We Reds fans have been asking for some of those for 2 or 3 years.

As a side question.... Does the bunting around the ballpark stay up all year again this year while playing? The bunting stayed up all year during my franchise, was wondering if this was just something weird that happened in Progressive Field or if it happened anywhere else. Thanks again.

The bunting was still there, even in exhibition games. Well, the grandstand bunting at least. I assumed it was supposed to always there, since I am just hearing about this. And I was under the impression that the bunting "package" did change for opening day or playoffs, adding more around the stadium. I believe this is a Progressive unique issue.

I have noted it for next year.

As for your linked changes, yes they were submitted while I was there (along with a few other changes). No, I have not received an update.

I hate to be the guy who posts something that's probably been asked a billion times... but this thread is longgggggg lol...

Any improvements to the playability of Progressive Field? I don't care about all the nuances and details, but for years now I haven't even been able to hit there, because of the weird lighting/contrast issues with the shrub in the background. I constantly have to just select a different stadium, when it comes time to play there.

Hey Slab, First off, thanks for all of your great work. It is much appreciated! I was one of the posters that was wondering about Great American Ballpark. As I'm more than happy to learn that it sounds like they got it right, would you by chance have any sceenshots? If not that's fine, I'll just have to be content in knowing it's fixed, but I hate to wait a whole month to see it..lol.

That's a kind of hard one to answer, since there are so many cameras to choose from. I assume you are speaking from the default catcher POV? I remember in years past I had a problem with Progressive whenever Masterson was pitching, but when the custom cameras became available, my custom cam worked well with all the stadiums I played in.

No problem. Unfortunately, no screenshots to share. The screenshot feature does not work the same as the PS3 on the dev units. While I took many screens, they were for development purposes. I was typically busy looking at the requests on OS, while I panned around each stadium pointing out various things to the stadium artists.

Speaking of GABP, I was playing MLB 12 the other day and the dugouts were already red (albeit kind of dark) w/ the wishbone C (reds.com) painted on it. I wonder if you guys may have been talking about something else? I did notice that in '12 the top of the home dugout was black; maybe that's what you were referring to?

Yeah, we were referring to the tops of the dugouts being black. Are they still black in '13?

I believe they were red w/ NL or division championship banners on top? That's how they should be right?

Yeah, I think they are WS banners though....as long as they are red it doesn't bother me about whats on top.

Yeah, mainly the default catcher cams. I have custom ones but they are usually just slight variations of the catcher cam. I don't recall it being limited to Masterson, I recall having trouble with any over-the-top pitcher because they'd hold the ball directly in front of that shrub, right before their release, and the ball would stay in that area as it approached the plate.

Hey SLAB, I've asked this question for a few years now. All the games i've watched at KAUFFMAN stadium in real life everytime the camera pans to the fountains the fountains were spraying up. I've been asking for this to be added to the show. Any word on if this will be added for 13? Thanks

anyone at CD who played at Petco...are there still way to many planes flying at Petco? I'm talking 3-4 per 1/2 inning. Thank you, I hope they toned it down or better yet, took it out.

I was just wondering why they can't create real spring training stadiums? Is there some contractual issues or would it take up too much memory or too much time. Haven't ever seen anything about this

I gave a general answer about fountains and such, earlier in the thread. Unfortunately, no fountains or water cannons were added, and only the stadiums that currently have them in game (Colorado for instance) will have them in 13. One thing that has been done in regards to presentation cuts, is that they focus on the scoreboard, players, fireworks (if applicable) during those events. So it kind of diverts your attention away from it.

That said, KC probably should be a special case because the fountains actually run during lulls in play, between innings, etc. I have made a note of this (and other similar features) for next year.

This ^^ - same for minor league teams' stadiums.
