Marlins Park was addressed already, and most of the changes were made. A screenshot was even posted. Anyway, the wall color, batter's eye color, "Clevelander" bar, "42" symbol, the LF "Budwieser" sign, the shelf bar, skyline, the big yellow pillar down the RF line, and backstop were all updated. The top Marlin on the HR sculpture was even requested to face to the right. I even sent a final request to add the "Miccosukee" and "Pepsi" ads to the left of the jumbotron.

Slab, many thanks man. I was the one who posted the left field screenshot but I hadn't seen where the backstop was ever mentioned. That's great news.Currently Playing

Great Updates and details Slab (and all the CD attendees).
One thing I was wondering that I haven't seen mentioned yet was the new parks that have been added for Spring Training.
In the grand scheme of the game these aren't hugely important, but for me personally, I'm very interested in them as I tend to play alot of Exhibition games in the Spring Training parks until the first set of Knight's Rosters are available for download.
That being said, I'm curious if the parks added resemble any of the new ones that have popped up around the Grapefruit and Cactus leagues. For anyone that has made it down to the greater Phoenix area in the last couple of years for Spring Training, some of these facilities are beautiful.
Would be awesome to see them start getting included into the game in coming years.Comment

Thanks Chikiboy, and glad you asked about the new stadiums. Even tho the focus was on the major league stadiums and getting replicated as close as possible, I did make it a point to look at the new stadiums.
They are very well done. Basically each artist created one stadium, and gave it their own "thing" for a lack of a better term. I think you guys will really like them! I don't know if there will be a blog on these so I won't get too in depth, but my favorite has to be one called "Iron Horse Stadium" - totally unique and awesome, IMO. And there is one that could definitely pass as a newer Cactus League type stadium (can't remember the name sorry.) I didn't check to see what teams they were attached to (cactus league teams or not), and they were all still listed under the minor league category when we were there.Comment

I went over all your request with the artist for O.co and they are working on the non-structural things. It was too late in the game to move walls and stairs and stuff, but they do keep this info in a vault for next year. Those types of changes effect collision detection and have to be re-proofed. So don't expect those changes but stuff like signage, color changes, and even the upper deck open tarp section look to be feasible.Comment

Sorry, not on these consoles LD, but I'm very confident for PS4. Speaking of Safeco, I really like how it looks. Nice upgrades that were replicated very well in the game too. I think Mariners fans will really like it... that jumbotron looks insane!Comment

I was expecting you to say 'no' so can't say I'm disappointed. Something about too much resources for covered/uncovered situations with Safeco and the other retractible roof parks, I think... Gives me something to look forward to with the Show for the next gen, as you point out.
I am looking forward to the Safeco upgrades though.GO 'HAWKS!

Hey SLAB....Were you able to get them to change the dugout club seats and wall behind them to the correct blue color in Dodger stadium before they finished the game?Last edited by DodgerFanatic2K3; 01-25-2013, 06:17 PM.Comment
