Its looked unfinished for 2 years now and i dont understand why thats not been fixed. It looks terrible.
I thought you were crazy it took me awhile to see what you were talking about. Man that does look terrible. You would think whoever designed that stadium would notice that glaring hole??? Hopefully this is an old version video and they have put the finishing touches on it!!!!

red sox in field has red clay and cross hatch image on grass

in MLB:12 The show theres a sox logo in the infield( hasn't been there since the WS in 07') and the dirt is brown, the infield dirt should look more like the Anaheim Angels does in the game

Ahhhhhh, this is what you're talking about?

          Spoiler

I'm just noticing/understanding the issue myself. That's why pictures are so important in these threads. Whoever posted the initial request, mentioned the 'fundamentals' sign so of course I focused on that area during CD. Also, what I think is going on is a rendering issue. I say that because, even tho I was looking above that area in the stadium, I probably would have noticed. However, since we were using the stadium viewer, it probably showed correctly.

Now that I know exactly what the issue is, I'll put a bug in their ear about it. And it could be already fixed too, and this is just an older version. Since I discussed the CF led stat board which still has the majestic static picture in its place.

When the Cubs for example suck, they still pack the seats. Will it be like that on the Show? But say the Pirates suck, what will it be like? About empty I hope.

Hell, say the Pirates (or Marlins) are good. Will they still pack the seats? Will all 17 Marlins fans come to the games?

Im interested to know the logic on attendance in The Show????
Ok. 18 Marlins fans because of Bobheads' pregnant cousin. But really, SLAB, do you know of this attendance question???

who cares about the clay color for fenway park! Seriously.

how about mentioning the stands in Centerfield!? In real life, home games for the Red Sox...

in day games - the Centerfield seats are covered
in night games - the Centerfield seats HAVE PEOPLE IN THEM!

I really hope this is fixed in mlb 13! It's such an eye sore since it's starring at you 24/7 when you play a game in mlb the show. (pitching or batting)

I'd imagine this would require a second model for Fenway as well. It seems almost impossible to me.

Idk about never being fixed. Because up until mlb 12, the monster seats were WAY OFF. They didn't have anyone sitting in the front row of the green monster seats. However, in mlb 12 the show, this was fixed. And there are people sitting in the front row of the monster seats (like in real life)

Therefore, I would think they could fix that...then they could fix the daytime/nighttime centerfield stands problem at fenway park.

As the game release gets closer I am really anxious to see if Turner Field received some love. I mainly hope they fixed the lighting issues with the outfield wall and pretty much throughout the whole stadium. Also the dug outs have been very bland for a while now. They added wooden benches for the players more towards the field of play either last year or the year before and I hope that made it in as well.

Hey slab I saw in the show live video that the rangers ribbon boards were not fixed. They should be green led and I posted on page 12 pictures of how they should look. You said you told Greg about it, so unless this is just an old build of the game I'm guessing it did not make it in?

The one discrepancy is that the batter's eye ivy is still in the game, and I think it was removed in real life. Not sure if they plan to regrow it.

Holy cow, you found my post! Thanks a ton, SLAB. I'm glad Oriole Park got some love.

As for the Ivy, last I read was that it died at the root level, and they don't plan to re-grow it, because it would take years.

Adding fans would screw up the batters eye. the black tarp is there so you can see the ball, if SCEA added the fans you'd get no hit every game.
