Re: CES questions you have about MLB 13 The Show
Maybe this "certain window" needs to be lengthened?
Edit: Not to mention that there is no mention of it anywhere, including the in-game help... there's even an in-game thing that lists every single command for every single situation... nothing about returning on a pickoff.Comment

Put it in the franchise thread...I believe that's Brian....I will speak to him.

Re: CES questions you have about MLB 13 The Show
How's the batting AI and/or plate discipline now? Do they actually chase pitches? Strikeouts feel more natural?
Does it seem like CPU fielders dive (and fail) less frequently? If that question is too subjective -- How many hits did you get off of failed dives (in how many games?)
How do hits feel now with the new physics? Bounces (eg: ground rule doubles and stuff)...
Did you see a fair number of wild pitches?
Did you see, from the CPU, or through your own performance, a realistic array of missed pitches and pitch locations - eg: mistakes outside of the zone and realistic strike/ball ratios? Basically, are pitchers overly perfect, or realistically human?
Make sure you ask Russell a bunch of questions about the PSP... like seriously, as many as you can think of!
It's cool. I got some hits I never have before like bloopers barely over shortstops head.
Yes on wildpitches.
I pitched more balls but again I did not play against the CPU so I'll try out tomorrow.Comment

I'm still a little iffy on this, i seriously doubt you have the ability to choose if you want a one handed or two handed follow through on every stance in the game. I certainly hope so though.
Also, news on new accessories is cool, especially two new eye blacks.

A little. There was one that went off my pitchers leg and went into foul territory on the third base side. It was pretty cool.Comment

Re: CES questions you have about MLB 13 The Show
I was wondering about the exclusion of ballboys ballgirls from the game, these kind of subtle things add so much to the realism, I really don't get why they wouldn't do it or what the hold up is here.
Also please address the weather, will there be any effect to our seasons / postseasons caused by the weather. Will we see double headers and scheduling conflicts. Will we have any kind of dynamic weather
The weather and doubleheaders etc are not going to be added anytime soon.Last edited by FreezeTime; 01-11-2013, 12:31 AM.Comment

With what button? I've tried all kinds of things to send my runners back and nothing prevents them from standing there, if thats what has been randomly selected to happen.

Re: CES questions you have about MLB 13 The Show
this is a must, you have to ask, have there been any impact and collision upgrades from MLB 12. Have they built upon their collision physics, namely with walls (IE Nick Swisher hitting that close RF wall alot in NY), and I have a short youtube video here, to show an example of clear need for the upgrade. I hope they aren't exactly the same/
speaking of the yankees, I've never dealt much with them in franchise mode, When players are traded or signed by NYY do they get the mandatory shave , if not can we edit that for any player that needs it.Comment
