I promise you guys that the devs that come here have a thick skin and can take constructive criticism. They have proven that for years.


That being said, asking for them to be fired (or other things that were said about them today) is something that will get you banned fast.


We don't discourage criticism, but remember that you are an actual mature person when doing so please.

The post I quoted is an example of someone who didn't.

I got stutter in MLB12 whenever it was from the cloud as a continuation from Vita. When it was rebooted it cleared right up and never happened again. Seems to me, just n=1, that this is a database/booting error if it's the same problem as last year.

Ok 2nd game and a major stutter in the release of Jimanez from the Indians pitching against the Nationals in their stadium.
Made it impossible to pick up the ball!

I hope they can figure out the problem.

For me it seems to be the first pitch of the at bat. Bot not always, I say 90% of time.

I tried offline, with disabled internet, it was okay I havent had stuttering during pitches, but had it during cutscenes.

I fired up 12, and it was soo good, I've played one full game to calm me down.

I've only had menu and music (in menus) hiccup, nothing that is really bothersome but it's a little annoying, I hope that is the extent of the stutter I'll see. It really does suck to see so many having their experience hampered by these stutter issues. :/

um, I can't believe I'm about to say this but...I might have to go back to 2K11 on my xbox! (and this is coming from the man who bought a ps3 just for the show)...

I had a bunch of stuttering earlier and, aside from the menu music skipping, have been smooth most of the night since, whether online or offline (online I still get the occasional menu or replay transition stutter. Offline has been buttery smooth). It is really random.

I haven't bought the game yet so I have a quick question. I scanned some of the posts but couldn't find anything on this. I hit from the broadcast view (similar to what you see on TV from behind the pitcher). Does the stutter still occur from this camera angle? That would probably make it nearly impossible for me to hit so I would most likely postpone my purchase until a patch fixes the issue. Thanks!

I had a bit of the stuttering issue in 12, and have actually postponed my purchase due to this thread, it seems like a very major issue this year.

I'm sure it will be worked out at some point, the Show devs have always been mega-responsive, but I get frustrated hitting when there's no stutter co I cant even imagine.
