Ya, so just a matter of time it seems like.

I wonder when they'll release a patch. Cause based on all the bugs and stuff that are reported, seems like it'd take forever to address all of them(if they decide to)

Now, I'm not 100% on this, but PSN doesn't have the same rules as XBOX LIVE does regarding patches, and only being able to have so many that are "free" for the company, then they have to pay for more, etc. And given the history of the team behind MLB:The Show, they have no problem pushing patches. I think they might be limited to certain days when PSN will actually push a patch, but I think that's it. Believe me, they won't have an issue pushing a patch that only fixes say the stutter, and maybe 2-3 other bugs if they think they are a major issue (which they are). They won't wait until they get 100 things to fix in a patch like the Madden team does (but some of that is because it's also on LIVE, and they want to limit the number of patches they push. I'm sure Russell will be letting us all know how things are coming on fixes for major bugs and issues we've found in the short time we've had the game already, in the near future.

Since The Show is published by Sony, I think they can get around this. Gran Turismo 5 (another Sony-published game) has had close to 20 patches/updates since its release.

What I've noticed about the "stutter" is that it's very subtle. You can tell when it happens and it throws off your timing at the plate. I've struck out a couple of times because of it. Not really sure it's a game breaker as there's proclaim because it happens so randomly...well, I dunno. It is annoying tho

My PS3 version stutters occasionally. Vita version has not experienced this as of yet. I've played 3 games on Vita and 3 on PS3. PS3 version has experienced stutters about 2x per game

Has anyone's game been freezing a lot? Mine has frozen about 3 or 4 times already. I don't mean the pitch or menu stuttering, that happens too. I mean when the game completely stops and is frozen in time for about 10 seconds, and then it seems to work itself out and everything continues normally (except for one time I had to restart my system).

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue, or is it just my PS3? Sorry if this has been brought up before. I looked around quickly and didn't see anyone mention it.

Yeah, Vita version is clean for me (I'm not counting framerate chop on the walkups and homerun scenes, that's entirely different). In fact, it might end up being my main fix until the PS3 problems get ironed out. It's a smooth 30 FPS during gameplay, and that's what matters to me.

I've disconnected from PSN and am a few games into my season and right now it's happen two out of every three pitches that the computer throws. Nothing when I am pitching. I read that it could possibly be a graphics thing, that the game is optimal at 720p, not for 1080p, curious as to if that makes a difference. It's rather annoying though.
